Something something United Fruit Company Something Something

I always find it so absurdly funny in the darkest of ways that we have slaughtered so many people for goddamn fruit. At least oil is the fuel of war, fruit is just so innocent.

Clinton used that 1985 recipet as a preview to what attacks on sanders would look like, and that was barely a scratch...

This is what scares me over Bernie in a general election... Good gravy!

That is quite sad considering she hugely benefited from it throughout this election, and she would have the gall to proclaim to overturn it after the election? Ugh.
citizens united basically sprung into existence to smear the Clintons, it's not a "me too" position from her

Cuban American democrat from Miami here. Just popped in to say Bernie can kiss Florida goodbye after that Castro video. Not a good look down here. Supporting Obama's Cuba policy is one thing, praising Castro is another.

Hillary of course seized the opportunity. Pandering? Perhaps. But smart.

weird, some here were just saying you didn't exist/dont matter, oddly

Who told you that lie?

Democrats told pollsters that themselves. I'm not going to Google it for you.

Also, in regards to the revolution, Occupy served as an incubator for all sorts of political actions from anti-fracking activism, to fast food worker wage increases, to BLM.

I mean, quite literally, it's personal.

Do not underestimate how much Cubans, even young Cubans, loathe Castro.

I know nobody else really gives a shit (I don't, personally) but it could be a sticking point in the Florida primary.

A little overblown response, don't you think?

It's clear he was talking about Cuba's healthcare being great, and not all the other policies enacted, and it was poor of Clinton to say that Bernie is going to make people disappear. There's absolutely no basis for it.

Florida is already going to be competitive as Florida has a lot of Trump's key demographics that support him. This was a very bad hit tonight on Sanders in relation to Florida. If you can't see why, then I'm sorry.

Yeah, let's just pretend that those Saudi weapons aren't made by the USA or that Hillary doesn't look to arm rebels whenever some dictator crosses a line (some terrible lines considering what Assad has done).

So, wait? Are you saying the U.S. shouldn't be supporting democracies and/or should stand by when atrocities happen?

How many of you out there?

Soon, the anti-castro vote will be so weak and so low that the fear mongering of its power won't even scare a cat. It'll come in part as result of closer relations...the first substantive move by Democrats to strip republicans of their historic hold of that constituency. Largely in part due to the lack of Democratic presidents for the last 40 years.

Carter (warming), then Clinton (nothing - Elian and Brothers of Rescue incident), Obama (warming). The voting patterns of that constituency have largely been the result of Republican pandering and foreign policy.

Just what I was about to say. And the question wasn't even that hard to answer, to be honest...

He supports socialist ideals, so he automatically agrees with everything Fidel Castro has ever done.

He was specifically asked to renounce his praise for Ortega and Castro and he couldn't do it. Just why? Believe it or not it will be used against him if they need to.

The commercials in spanish write themselves.

How many of you out there?

Hispanics down here as a whole can't stand people who praise any of the Latin American dictators over the past decades because EVERYONE knows someone who has ran from their country because of them. It is no joke. This has very little to do with Cubans specifically and everything to do with Hispanics who have seen the horrors first hand.
