No problem killed death 3 times with her.My pawn returned last night with over 500,000 RC from a single person. Goodness. I've played over 150 hours on Steam and that was definitely a first.
Any tips for doing better damage as a magic archer? It feels like my attacks do nothing.
Get a sorcerer who has flame attacks and can enchant your weapons with fire. Once it's set on fire it can't go anywhere. Also, any tips on fighting gryphon? It always escapes.
I was curious would the Duchess be down to clown with you if the PC is a lady?
Yep. Whether you're male, female, young or old, it's a non-factor. That quest is 100% scripted and it sucks. That's why I said I feel like it was put together by someone who doesn't understand the rest of the game at all.I was curious would the Duchess be down to clown with you if the PC is a lady?
It's up to you really. BBI is superior to everfall so do which ever you think is best.So now that I've, should I go tokilled the DragonorBitterblack Isle (haven't visited yet)?Everfall

Maybe it looks better in motion, IDK. Sometimes screenshots don't do a game justice.

What is the quest Im supposed to do early that I can miss?
Escort or something?
Thanks!
I think there are a couple in the starter town that become available after you reach the fort and fight the. That fight unlocks an escort quest that takes you to the capitol; go home first instead of jumping right into that one.Hydra

You should go to the Witchwood and complete the Quest "Lost and Found" as soon as you can
I thought there was an important quest though that can be missed.

Yea I was so excited to get to the Shadow Fort part that I raced to Gran Soren
Is the second part of Witchwood special?
I watched a video of L& F and it seems pretty meh

I don't see the issue. seriously guys, by this time you had already been romancing her so many times it was leading up to it.
Yoy guys had plenty if opportunities to bail out that relationship.
Most people don't get lucky enough to even get this quest unless they pester her constantly.
The really important part is that it gives you the quest that will lead to Arisen Bond. And AFAIK the only place you can find Metal Golems in the main game pre Final Battle.
This, plus the fact that the quest is necessary to reach the Blighted Manse, which is honestly one of the best and most fun non-BBI dungeon to explore in the game, so it sucks to miss out on it, but you have to endure that ridiculous, out of character "romance" storyline to unlock it.Pester her constantly? LOL what?
You go from zero affection to max affection by speaking to her for a total of 3 conversation in one go, lol. She goes from not knowing you to claiming you are the love of her life in the span of 5 minutes, lol.
In fact, you need to actually do specific things in a specific manner specifically to avoid the game shoehorning her as your beloved, that is if you still want to complete all the quests.

The only real use I can see for Guardian is if you want a pawn who doesn't fight. That can be useful if you're planning to run through areas that you're way underlevelled for, and don't want your pawn to engage any enemies. I tend to think that in that case you'd be better off killing your pawn and playing solo for that stretch though. The other behaviours you mentioned that you're trying to avoid are covered by the Acquisitor and Pioneer inclinations, so just avoid those.I would not flat out say "don't use Guardian"
I mostly play solo, but If I'm playing with my pawn, I like him to stay close and not be wasting time looting for me, also sometimes pawns that wonder far off end up getting knocked out out of cliffs or are to slow to catch up when you simply want to run out harms way.
Bottom line is ,
if you like playing the game (often drawing aggro) with just one pawn and not have to baby sit them
I would choose Guardian/ utilitarian.
But given that most people prefer range type Arisens (magic archers, rangers, mages, ect) I could see how the guardian class has a bad reputation.
Definitely start with the latter. It's a natural progression from there to the other option. You'd be wasting your time if you did them the other way round. Caveat though: don't actually complete the main quest in that latter area. Just explore it thoroughly, then head to the other place. Completing the main quest in the latter area will finish the game.So now that I've, should I go tokilled the DragonorBitterblack Isle (haven't visited yet)?Everfall
Mine does, and most Mages should. The healing spells are called Anodyne and High Anodyne. Sorcerers can't have healing though, so maybe you're looking at Sorcerers? Their class icon is quite similar, Sorcerer just has the extra flourishes on the staff. Sorry if you already knew those things, some people are just starting the game so might not be aware. But why does no ones mage have healing???
Quests aside, the funny thing is that if you leave the castle the first time via anything but the main doors, you'll never even meet her.In fact, you need to actually do specific things in a specific manner specifically to avoid the game shoehorning her as your beloved, that is if you still want to complete all the quests.
Pardon this, but every class seems like it has its place and can be used on equal footing with any other class. Fighter could stand toe to toe with a warrior for ex.
So why is there both a mage and sorcerer? One seems like it's the evolution of the other. If sorcerer was say a necromancer who only did dark arts and summons that'd be cool.

Mage is for buffs and healing while Sorcerer is pure offensive, basically.
Not true. In my first playthrough after finishing her quests I went home instantly to gift Selene numerous time before proceeding to Salvation quest and yet Grigori chose her over Selene. And that's with me constantly throwing her into the sewer for lulz during the escape whenever she complained she couldn't walk.I don't see the issue. seriously guys, by this time you had already been romancing her so many times it was leading up to it.

ahh ok that works. So Mage ould be great for pawns then. I saw both did enhancements and assumed both could heal and buff
I feel sorry for Grigori's fate, but that doesn't give him excuse to decide my marriage.Grigori strikes again ladies and gentlemen!
LoL 5years later and this never gets old.
XD
It's true, and I was so excited by the thought of that spell back in vanilla... but in practice I was hugely disappointed with it. If you're fighting a Cockatrice then potions are the way to go in my opinion.Regarding heals, I think it's worth noting sorcerer is the one that can cure petrification.
Agreed it's pretty much useless in vanilla where cockatrice and evil eyes aren't even that common, not to mention pawns with sufficient knowledge would dodge the attacks effortlessly. It's true, and I was so excited by the thought of that spell back in vanilla... but in practice I was hugely disappointed with it. The longer the fight, the more petrification you're going to get, so I prefer all pawns go in guns blazing for those fights, rather than having a Sorcerer taking their sweet time casting high voidspell. Too many casting interruptions can spell trouble, and if they die, you're in big trouble. Potions never let you down
So after I beat the Gryffin, how far along am I?
I know things are different in NG+ but I probably dont care to play it; I dont know anything about B.B. Island but Im definitely not up for a gear-grind.
Update on pawn:
10 items maximum send limit, across all gifts/pawns per sleep. So if you rent eleven pawns and all get a gift, one isn't arriving.Well this was painful
Sent over 28 BBI lv2 armor/weapon/gear and a couple of lv3 gear over to my alt account
Only 10 made it there
Guess I shouldn't have dumped all of that at once
Live and learn :/
