Expecting 8 or 8.5/10.

Pros: Battle system, graphics
Cons: Story, characters

Not at all a flawless game, but could be fun with the right expectations. Probably better than FFXVI overall, but we'll see how bad the cringe is. Gameplay looked pretty good.

If this was the only trailer I saw, I would be in day one. As it is, I'm gonna still wait for reviews and see if the story is actually good. Some early snippets from people who've played the game for a few hours weren't too high on the story.

Looks so much different than reveal trailer... also they finally showed some blood effects that had me worried before, I might buy this if reviews are good

We've gone from "no DRM" to "free with GFN" in a couple weeks. Wonder if we'll get paid to play it by the time it releases? Not sure if I'd bite then, though.

I’m talking about the tone and vibe of the trailer.

Its the final trailer, its vibe and tone would be different as it would focus on different elements of the game, like MGS2 does from reveal to final

Make what you are saying make sense.

Provide any evidence that in the past it was normal for a final trailer to continue to reference the first trailer.

MGSV's first trailer is nothing like the final trailer

MGS2's trailer with the tanker is nothing like its final trailer that shows more info on the game like the Big Shell scenes. Thats like saying "OMGS woooow bbq day iz trying they best to distance themselves from that fucking terrible reveal trailer"

So it being different isn't some smoking gun, that is generally how trailers are. You are trying to force this idea that it being different, must mean to validate something, when this could have always been the fucking trailer they had in mind, why would they not show the main bad guy in a Dragon Age trailer?

So you have like, proof or evidence that they originally just had zero plans to show us this as if that was ever some normal thing? lol

They really insist on showing diverse Rooks. The vastmajority of core gamers (aka non-mobile) are white & asian males, they dont wanna play as Tyrone or Mohammed, and it will bite them in the ass.

On one hand if this fails it legit might be the final nail in the coffin of wokeness, on the other hand if bioware is closed we dont get the next Mass Effect...then again, this is Bioware in name only so lets let capitalism do its thing.

Not a bad trailer compared to the reveal one.
Yea this is an odd moment for sure. I'm guessing their marketing team finally learned how to market a fantasy game that they should have known how to market since the beginning.

On a side note the create a character's voice and face in this trailer remind me of the Prince of Persia.

Looks like a completely different game.
That's the power of having an actually good trailer. Whoever was in charge of their marketing before this needs to not market for fantasy games anymore and maybe do something else.

That first trailer had that awful Fortnite aesthetic and quippy Marvel dialog, it got ratio’d to hell on YouTube and bashed relentlessly by the DA fandom.

But yeah, I’m sure it’s just a total coincidence that the other trailers tried to be as far from possible from the tone of the first one that everyone hated.

ok, but you don't have any evidence this actual trailer wasn't always planned. Why would they not show the bad guy?

Trailers are in waves, as in they show different parts..sooooo yea, but you are trying way to hard to act as if this is a new or wild thing lol

With zero proof that they've ever done that, like just show trailers of just the same things and nothing new, but that isn't really how they've done it in the past.

Next thing you know you are going to tell me the dragons in the game MUST have been added last minute lol

Nah, this has nothing to do with any fucking criticism as I'm not even buying the game day 1

Merely the idea of a trailer being like this isn't some conspiracy, its very normal for the final trailer to show some bad guy, more areas etc.

That isn't some crazy new thing lol

By the way Kacho Kacho I'm not going to make it in time, my marathon of Dragon Age games has come to a crawl because I have just reached Inquisition and it unfortunately took the wrong lessons from a lot of Ubisoft games with it's open biomes, including collectathon/MMO-style sidequests. Compared to the two before it which were paced very very well, I now find myself playing a podcast-game that might take me up to 100 hours to complete.

Dude, this game literally is woke. It’s not debatable. Top scars alone from the rip tells you the messages this game is pandering.

It’s not “everything is woke”, it’s that it’s quite obvious this one is.

The fact the character models over time in this series went from unique monstrosities to shitty human looking diversity hires is also a red flag.

Such a fall from grace where the series started.
