Trailer looked okay. Lip sync looked a bit off and the graphics are okay too. No wonder the system specs are so low

The trailer has the same B-grade amateur janky feel to it as Mass Effect Andromeda, my gut is telling me this will be just as bad, maybe going in with much lower expectations this time will be it's saving grace.

so like... I am not quite sure how to explain it but it felt like the trailer was trying so hard to be "epic" but it just seems really... off

This is the best I have seen from the game since the unveil, which was underwhelming. I keep my expectations low. I hope there isn't too much purple hair nonsense in this one and that the game turns out better than expected. Will probably play it anyway, since it's my favorite genre.

This looks like the trailer to try and appeal to the main gamer demographic even though the game itself won't be doing that at all. They even went with a white male player character. When you see a white male from American devs these days it's suspicious.

And I can't get over that shitty font. Remember how the first Dragon Age had like red letters with blood spatter on a white background?

Concord might be to your taste. Try it, its releasing soon.

I have a feeling this is going to be a complete shit show built for "modern audiences ".

Good luck to them, but st most I would throw in $20 couple years down the line. Well, and it's EA so chances are PC performance is going to be terrible.

Trailer looked good. Seemed a lot less "sweet baby" style this time. Still have no idea about gameplay or whether the first annoying trailer was the lore accurate.

Promising game but need more info and reviews to drop $70 on it.

This trailer looks significantly better than that abomination they showed a few months back. I'll still wait for post-launch impressions though

This looks like they took Dragon Age and turned it into a Saturday morning kids TV show.

I am not a fan of the visual style at all. Even the monster design looks goofy as fuck.

It's like the target audience is everyone except Dragon Age series fans.

Bioware fucking shit up as per usual.

The cartoony art style looks adventury to me, good for showing great vistas.

Doesn't feel like they would rely too much on old game lore.

I kinda like it how the trailer was done but I really hate the new design of the darkspawns...

And Morrigan new design is pretty meh...well hopefully the VA is still the same.

Can somebody check this and make a thread about it?
This must be a mistake... $150 for a collector's edition that doesn't even include the digital game, wtf.
Welcome to gaming in 2024 - mass layoffs, record profits. It's not the first time edition like this happens.

I've seen some shit, but I can't remember the last time I saw something as ridiculous as this. I think GoW and/or Horizon did some shit like this(?)

EA has been doing that for a while now.
Oh word? I've been avoiding those mfs like the plague, this game unfortunately is already being criticized by many fans (myself included) and even though this is completely optional, I don't see how it will help it in any way.

Ps: fuck EA.

🤔

I'm very fucking sceptical BioWare can deliver nowadays an interesting and nice RPG, let alone a captivating story and amazing gameplay, but I wish they can so I will give it my two peeps 👀 when it releases and if I'm proved wrong, I'll be more than happy to take the L while enjoying it. 😁

Meanwhile, I'll put all my faith in Archetype Entertainment, built under Wizards of the Coast, which is developing Exodus and is CHOCKFULL of Dungeon Fiends from Golden Age Black Isle, Interplay, BioWare and other designers, writers, directors and developers like Drew Karpyshyn, and it's helmed by none other than James Ohlen, THE DUNGEON FIEND.

Among the varied honors those developers have, Fallout, Planescape:Torment, Icewind Dale, Neverwinter Nights, Baldur's Gate, Mass Effect, KoToR, Jade Empire, The Old Republic etc.

Located in Austin, my wet dream would be that, now that Arkane Austin is pretty fucked up, they've been poaching the brightest of the best of them and Exodus will be the dream child between immersive sim+rpg. A man has a right to dream. 🙏🥹❤️🎲

This totally surprised me that this is coming out on Halloween.

That is also the day that I first started work in my current job.

I went ahead and pre-ordered it. The Deluxe Edition armor seemed crappy.

I got the Standard Edition instead. The pre-order armor look good. It is the old blood splatter design from previous games.
