Yep. Or punch them a few times. You hear a sound that signifies lowering of affinity. After you don't hear the sound anymore you can stop punching and using the Ferrystone to get away before the guards throw you in jail for assault lol.
I'm too lazy to buy effluvium so I just punch them. xD
Moaradin, you don't need Cloudwine for Mercedes (I'm assuming, since it's her favourite gift) if you have the Arisen's Bond. Though if you got locked out of the Witchwood quests I guess you have to.

Why does dodge roll not consume any stamina? Definitely faster than walking... which means the slight min/maxxer in me might make me want to dodge roll to all my locations

I just realized, I've been using your pawn since around level 20 (46 now). Or at least, I've been using a female Sorcerer with that name and same hair color, although the hairstyle is different and her Arisen is a Ranger. Going to send her back to get the updated version since it looks much better.

Nah. That was an understandable reaction on her part, she was just frightened and clearly felt bad about it.
What I hate about her is
how she's a forced love interest, but is just a really insipid character. Just a standard "help me good warrior!" *throws self at you* damsel without any kind of interesting personality. She's vacuous.

I did get everything looking right eventually but after that I gave it up, the performance hit wasn't worth it.

I was doing an escort mission and a Drake appeared, I'm level 45 so I thought "let's kill this mofo" AND GUESS WHAT, I killed it! Such an awesome battle!
And I actually got a Drake's Tear, wooooo. Apparently it's a very rare drop.

I did get everything looking right eventually but after that I gave it up, the performance hit wasn't worth it.
I haven't even gotten to that point. Just downloading and figuring out which version to use is messing with me. Like, do I use the wrapper or injector version? Why is there s separate injector app?

1. Download the latest enb release from enb website
2. Extract only the d3d9.dll file from the wrapper folder
3. Download the desired enb preset from nexus
4. Extract everything to the game's root folder
5. Put the d3d9.dll to the game's root folder
6. Play
My recommended ENB presets: Wickfut and Enhanced Vanilla.

Haha, I'm only up to 1 rental myself, but it's a pretty cool way of doing MP. I keep forgetting to release pawns at the end of a session so I end up doing a release and rental the next day.
Aside from the totally eye rolling
forced romance and dialogue, she basically ruined my attempt to get Mercedes as beloved. I knew how the system worked, so I gave up Mercedes and tried to get Selene instead (anyone but the duchess)... But the duchess is now living in my house anyway. Attempt failed.
She's also too much of a typical damsel in distress. Piss off bitch. This lady warrior has her own battles to fight.

You don't have to hold RT while climbing. Press RT again while jumping to grab.
You didnt, although im getting a "you didnt play the real Dragons Dogma because you skipped everfall" vibe from some people

I went to BBI about 3-4 days ago at level 65 and I'm now level 130. The levels come pouring in fast, but to be fair I've been playing a lot. LOL
Once you're on, you don't need to keep the button held down. If you jump off, you'll need to press RB again to initiate another grab.

Damn, I should have changed the code earlier. Packing up files and uploading. It still far from perfect tho', many settings have not been modified yet.
The indoor shot is amazing, but the outdoor one has too much bloom on it imho.

It's weird. I never had any problems getting my Pawn summoned on the 360, but not a single summoning so far on PC.

Stock up on Blast Arrows. But he's actually designed to be gradually killed through the course of the game. So anytime you take down a bar of his health it will stay that way, there's a decent chance you'll lose a couple pawns each time he spawns though.
Yup, it's part of the new code I'm using, I've yet to understand it completly, plus the fact that I'm heavily relying on Bloom + Lens to fight crushed levels of blacks.
Anyway, sending everything needed to Grief.exe.

I've also learnt that escort quests are bloody annoying sometimes when a hungry Griffin is about: sprint away young Arisen!
If anyone wants to add a fellow DragonGAF'er, feel free (for pawn swaps and reciprocated pawnage good times). My pawn still has no uses, but she's keen to go on some other adventures! (Healing/Holy Fire focus Mage).

This is one of the most broken skill in the game. When I first played the game on 360 I only played as Mage/Sorcerer/Mystic Archer and now on PC it's my favorite class. I killed the

Why are pawns dismissed when they fall in deep water? Such bullshit. I hope there's not alot of cliffs/water levels to worry about.
Wow, I forgot how tough that altar on the way to meet the group to deliver the hydra head was. Went to the bottom and barely survived the brawl with an army of those lizardmen. Level 15 MK and Ranger pawn isn't enough. >.> I also had a level 15 sorcerer (with no ice spells ) and luckily a level 30+ something strider from someone who added me to the friendlist the other day...

Do lanterns on pawns do anything other than give them a glow? It seems like the arisen is the only one with an actual light output - if your lantern goes out, the area isn't lit up by your pawns... at least from what I've noticed.

I don't know, but it sucks. Every time it's happened to me has been due to their pathing being bad, either from narrow corridors or their incessant need to be five feet from me at all times.
At least the player can survive (or rather, not die from) it. I've fallen in just enough times for it to be a serious problem otherwise.
The real answer is, the Brine is in the water and it kills people.

They do have a light output, but it's like half the size of the one the Arisen produces. Three pawns with lanterns has always been enough for me to see by. Then again, I prefer to be a ranged fighter so I just look at where my pawns are...
