Hard will start you back at the beginning. It'll save your items/levels and whatever like ng+ does. During hard you can swap to normal/easy at any time, but not back to hard.
Eh, BBI was kinda alright. Disappointing that so many rooms get re-used. I think I saw a most room layouts twice in my playthrough.
They also had a real weird penchant for shoving big enemies into way too cramped environments. Like, who the hell thought that Eliminator in Fortress of Remembrance (the tower) was a great idea? Or the forced Elder Ogre spawn towards the end of BBI?

planning a build and wondering do end game armors also cause stamina drain at low levels? I know weapons do but what happens if I put a bbi level 3 armor on at level 30?
i looked at the wiki and none of the armors say anything about stamina drain.

I installed the ENB files and tried making my own preset like always. I don't know WTF is wrong with my PC; it seems that some effects simply don't work. I tried to mess around with ambient lighting, SSAO, Bloom and skylighting, and NONE of them change anything even if I put ridiculous values. I had a similar issue with GTA V.
I already used ENB in other games. I don't know if ENB has limited implementations in the said games, but I noticed these issues when I installed it on GTA V. I simply can't control lighting and SSAO.
I installed a popular ENB preset from Nexus and nothing is happening. I turned off MSI afterburner but I doubt that is part of the problem.

Are Mage pawns or Sorcerer pawns in greater demand? Not sure what to leave my (post-dragon) pawn as.
With Sorcerer, I'll probably equip [High] Ingel/Gicel/Levin/Bolide/Miasma/Holy (or should Voidspell take one of those slots?). With Mage, swap out Bolide and Miasma for Halidom and Anodyne (and Gicel for Frigor).
It's a giant dungeon with challenging encounters but only a dozen or so rooms recycled liberally. If you really like DD's combat/loot, it's pretty meaty and can entertain for tens of hours.

Is it even possible to play without a mage's Anodyne? The number of consumables you'd eat up without one would be staggering...

Sure, salubrious brew, kingwarish, auspicious incense, godly analeptic, vivifying essence, lordly tonic.

What are the best strategies against the two frost drakes? I have 1K silencer arrows, but i don't think that's enough.

I don't like caster pawns. They're slow, and by the time they get a good spell off the room has been ricochet' to death.
If you need that much healing I'd saying you're either playing a melee class poorly or you're under equipped/leveled for whatever you're doing.

Gran Soran Innkeeper can do it. Have to escort your hydra head there. Or go to Bitterblack Island and Orla can do it. Go to the dock at night after getting your pawn.
My strategy for 2 frostwyrms is to run past them to the door like a pansy.

Also, just dash straight to the center of the arena, if you stay near the stairs, they'll just murder your pawns.

Does anyone know if a Sprint Stamina/Weight mod will flag your pawn?
I've already played this game to death on consoles, so I'm finally to the point where I've decided that micro-managing weight and sprint duration is dragging me down a bit. There's plenty of mods for them, but if they negatively impact my pawn I'd rather not mess up the online portion of the game.

Grand Scension is seriously underrated. It can juggle a lot of stuff, like skeleton lords and poisoned undead.Watching enemies fall off ledges will never stop being funny.
I always carry at least one physical and one magic weapon, just to make sure. Not only for when they're stronger, but when you're against stuff immune to one or another like golems and living armor. Also, a rusted weapon forged as highly as possible, applying torpor with two *fold shots is awesome.
Did it the other day. It doesnt count neither fatties or armored undeads.

The mod only affects the Arisen, the Pawn is untouched. I use the half cost stamina mod with no problem.

Ah, you can just avoid this room you know?
When I first got to the Everfall in this playthrough, I tried it once, then died really fast (hard mode too). When I reload it resets the monster spawn and one time I got a drake instead and that was much easier (+ chance to dragonforge some goodies). If I'd ever return to this room and get the Lich + hellhounds + gorechimeras combo I'd just godsbane and retry. xD
And yet, after doing some BBI, I came back to that room as a Magick Archer with some better gear (and more levels of course) just for kicks, and annihilated them.
Same thing happened in the infamous Forgotten Hall in BBI. First time I ran like hell like a little bitch. But yesterday, I came back with my Magick Archer, and the room was suddenly trivial. Sniped the mages from the balcony above, then took care of the sirens, then took out each Gorecyclops like so: torpor'd with rusted daggers, then spamming Explosive Rivets and Ninefold Bolts (I got lucky and got two Magick Archer bands that boost each of these abilities hehe), re-applying torpor with the daggers as necessary.
Made the fights almost trivial really.
I like how some encounters seem impossible at first, and when you come back stronger you just crush the enemy like they were ants.
There's something else I want them to patch:
- The post-game notice board quests in the Pawn Guild. I am not seeing any of them at all. And yes I did all the prior notice board quests that I could ever find.
- Why, sometimes, we can't see our friends's pawns. It's there in the list, you click to summon it, and it never shows up.
Saw an "Adolf" pawn the other day. Was rated 5 stars for appearance. Sigh.

Is it best to use a sword or daggers with the Assassin class? I've been using a sword but some of these daggers skills seem pretty great, do daggers put out enough damage to make them worthwhile?
