for those in here using the DS4, there's a mod for you

Both of those add Playstation buttons to the game. The top one is higher ranked but pick the one you want.
My pawn is a strider and seems kind lame at level 27. Should I make it a magick archer? Seems like they might have better spells. I'm a warrior.
Unfortunately, pawns can't be hybrid classes like magick archer. My pawn is a strider and seems kind lame at level 27. Should I make it a magick archer? Seems like they might have better spells. I'm a warrior.
Pawns don't have access to advanced vocations.
It's designed for your second playthrough (new game +). If it's your first time with the game, play on Normal. Is hard mode something you start at level 1 or you wait till late on when you are higher level? Im getting one shotted by everything! lol
Glad to see Dogma getting more love! I still play the ps3 version every so often. I hope the PC port sells well enough to convince Capcom into making a sequel.

Yes, yes, keep buying this game.
If the PC version can sell 700,000 units the grand total of this game would reach 3 million with console sales. That's respectable. It's currently at 70,000. Hopefully word of mouth improves on things.

What is better, Magick archer or Ranger? I want to be a powerful archer
I actually did hire her today. I liked that attack that turned enemies to stone. What's the name of that skill? If you're looking for a fighter pawn you can hire my Luce
steam id (i'm in the neogaf steam group): http://steamcommunity.com/id/Lux_86
Luce is an expert fighter lvl 37, with very good gear:
Weapon: Almace
Shield: Orilux
Main Armor: Crimson Plate
Let her help you!
Just a heads up but Steam Spy stats aren't reliable until ~3 days in according to the creator.

This has multiple options for you.Any recommended mods worth using atm?
I think someone mentioned that playing eithout a weight limit is worth using.
I'd be happy with that too, but I still hope for a sequel.probably enough to convince them to bring DDO to the west honestly
DD2 seems like a bigger project
Oh wow, I didn't know the console versions had even sold that much. I thought it was only at 1mil+on consoles.Yes, yes, keep buying this game.

The longbow that the Ranger uses is more powerful, but I really like magick archer more because of the spells and skills you get. Plus it hasa sorta lock on. Magick Archer and assassin are my Tacitus classes in the game. What is better, Magick archer or Ranger? I want to be a powerful archer
If you like sniping / long range, Ranger.
If you like AOE / Room Clear, Magick.

It's only been out 2 days hasn't it?
Well would that mean the numbers are skewed higher or lower than what it is now? Also how accurate is steamspy?
I keep telling this to everyone but they won't listen.Dudes:
- The game pauses while you're in your inventory
- Healing items can be used from your inventory
- Healing items are instant
- Healing items are cheap
- You can buy infinite healing items
Messing with your carrying capacity is essentially fucking any semblance of difficulty the game has. Without a weight limit you can start the game, sell your DLC items, buy a shitload of health items and fire bombs, go to the expansion island and skip 90% of the game's progression.
It's your game and your time, but you're going to kick yourself once you realize how your inventory limit was a key part of game's balance.
In terms of pure easy DPS power the ranger is the strongest in the game. What is better, Magick archer or Ranger? I want to be a powerful archer
Reached level 29. Now I'm a few levels above the friend's pawn I used to use, so I had to resort to non-friend pawns at my level for free since everyone else is quite a bit below haha.
Also fyi because I fucked up when I played this on 360 back in the days, you'll eventually get a mission called Escort Duty.
You need to do this mission perfectly and quickly or you'll miss out on a very useful item that can get you better deals and items in stores. It's not a hard quest either, but I'd suggest that if you have to follow a walkthrough for ONE quest in this game, do it for this as I don't think there's another way to get this specific item in a playthrough
Anyways having said that, doing one more idol quest next time I play, and then once I give that to the merchant I'll go ahead and buy new gear and equipment for both my Geralt and Triss and update her, since we've both been sporting the same gear since the beginning of the game.
Go to the inventory, hover over any item and press 1-5 to hot key it.How do you set item hotkeys? I remember them saying that keys 1-5 are item shortcuts but I don't know how to enable or set them.
I just ran from another zombie dragon. If I had no weight limits I'd go to town, spend a few million on the big heal/stamina potions, go back and just off the dragon on consumables alone. As it is I can't carry enough stamina consumables with my current damage output to stay on him indefinitely. Pawns are irrelevant, they get insta killed by most dragons anyway. You can't transfer items off downed pawns. Being able to carry infinite items myself breaks the game.
Like I said: people can do what they want, but to say it isn't going to make the game a breeze is naive.
Go to the inventory, hover over any item and press 1-5 to hot key it.
Haha it sucks but you aren't completely fucked there are two lesser idols you can give for those two quests.Just finished the side quest before I saw this and saved x.x. Gotta remember this for NG+ I guess.
Go to the inventory, hover over any item and press 1-5 to hot key it.
So Steam says I've been playing for 9 hours today. Well. It _is_ 1am now.
After having fun creating my character, and finding her weird afterwards, I kinda like her now. Also my pawn is boss.
Thanks for hyping me into buying this GAF, so far it's a fantastic game.
Qt 3.14? Check.
Pure? Check.
Waif? Check.
I am NOT ASHAMED to admit I have fallen in love with my Arisen.
Thanks.
Quick question before I start the game. Are the KB&M controls good or should I go with my 360 pad?
well shit, i'm stuck between a rock and a chimera
and it' just turned night. moments ago.
and i saved in my trap before i realized i fucked up
this is what being careful is all about right?
Well, you could always run past the chimera.
i wish i could.
there is also an armoroed skeleton next to it.
and as i pass the chimera, there are Bandits as well.

Any pawns that arent your #1 pawn dont level up right? So I have to keep exchanging them every few levels?
