IIRC, the amount of DCP you earn is a percentage of the amount of XP gained, and it varies depending on your party makeup -- if pawns are lower level than you, you earn more; if they're equal or higher, earn less.
Though worrying about that stuff isn't really necessary. It can be useful at a certain point in the game if all you want to do is max out unused vocations for their shared skills/augments.

I forgot how good this game is. If I can envision doing something badass and cool during a fight, the combat system is good enough to actually let me do it in the game without looking like a moron. It's so much fun.
I love the pawn system. Going out on a quest with an experienced pawn is like having a walking spoiler and game guide. "I remember this foe Arisen, it's weak spot is its eye." There is no other game out there that has anything like this single player - multi player npc system. It also feels good taking a friend's pawn on a quest that they've never done, and hearing them reply later that they've learned from this adventure. The pawns are always learning. And then we get to rate them and provide feedback on their performance. It's a very clever system.

I played probably 80 hours on PS3, but I'm right back in there now, and it's been long enough that I barely remember anything. I've been absolutely enveloped by this game over the weekend, and can't wait to get back in tonight. I really am curious to see how useful my Pawn's been, so I'm hoping that fix comes sooner than later.
I feel like I've barely scratched the surface of the game and I'm already near level 40. I just finished the
and forgot how great the build up was to that boss. Too bad I killed him in about 25 seconds.
I also ran into a
for the first time this playthrough near the male thief's hideout, and 1 shot it with the High meteor spell. The music started and then played the fanfare. It felt amazing.
I've been playing again with Magick Archer, just because it really captures the feeling of Panzer Dragoon (as weird as that sounds) and I love the playstyle. I have about 10-11 skills left to max out on it though, and then I'll be switching to either Mystic Knight or Warrior for a change of pace.
Also, despite me loving this game and buying both the original and DA on PS3, I've yet to touch Bitterblack Isle or even too much of
, so I'm really excited to see all the enemies I've never even encountered. I haven't been this into a game since Dark Souls 1. It feels like the PC version totally enhanced and refreshed the game.

Remember there are multiple factors. You might be under/overleveled in your friends list and people don't wanna take the hit on EXP. Situation might also be simply that you don't have enough friends playing atm, so you are now competing against thousands of others who also have pawns in the aggregate pool

I just got Arc of Might...............boy, I feel sorry for my next victims.
Once you get Arc, its one of those skills that will never get switched out, it just flat out does WWAAYYYY too much damage. We're talking x5 a fully charged second level lash. I mean, bruh, it's capable of ONE-SHOTing boss level enemies like a griffin. And two-shot ogres.
If you dont have time to charge it up, you fucking MAKE time! lol.
Prepare yourselves of future gifs.
I didn't see a FPS drop while using it. I didn't like the preset I used though (wickfutENB). Introduced blur in all the wrong places (loading screens, blurred the text above pawn's heads when choosing them from the rift, etc.) and I disabled it.
Also, it artificially upped the contrast resulting in blown out whites and crushed blacks.
I eventually just yanked it out and am playing without any visual mods right now. Need to try to get GeDoSaTo working again :\

Question: Has anyone figured out how to cheat to mark certain quests as complete? I missed pretty much the first one (Save Reynard, the guy being attacked in the road by goblins), and according to the wiki, he is gone until NG++. Any idea how to force to reappear?

I'm getting high 40s to 50s at 1440p (maxed out in-game settings) with Wickfuts preset.
Looks pretty neat, DoF is too near for my taste but certainly okay for beauty shots.
You shouldn't compromise your ideals to try and be popular man. Don't give in to waifu culture! You're letting them win! My pawn is actually a 7 foot tall goblin lady. Zero regrets!
Anyone else getting weird performance issues as they get deeper into this?
When I started out I was getting locked 60 at 4k and 120 - 144 at 1080p. As I've gotten further in though my performance has gotten worse and worse, now to the point where I'm getting 40 - 70 at 1080p.

Whew, managed to beat
. Huge pain in the ass on hard since it had so much HP and I'd die if it even looked at me funny. Was rolling as a Ranger, so I basically just shot tenfold flurries at it while hoping my pawns were delicious-looking enough to distract it. After a few deaths I managed to pop a liquid vim while it was doing the
, and then a bunch of explosions happened? and it lost the last two bars of its health crazy fast.

1. When you are in a new area and are looking for quests not found in questboards, do you really have to search for NPCs to provide them. I managed to find like 3 on the first town after searching for them. Will it be hard to find quests like these in the future/
2. Are questboard quests generic or something? They feel like they're just to grind gold and experience.
3. Should I sweat about the kind of skills I could buy on my strider or will the skill points be easy to accumulate?
4. Is it fine if my main pawn dies? I quite like throwing her off large cliffs.
5. I did a escort quest and manage to not fuck up. If worse case scenario occurs and the escort dies, could I just alt-F4?

I think you can buy it multiple times. In post game he offers an infinite use version.
Walk back to Gran Soren instead of teleporting for fun times.

If you release the attack button right as it charges and your character flashes, you'll do even more damage. Same with Indomitable Lash.
And then you get rings in BBI that upgrade those skills to lvl3!
Fixed mine by uninstalling GeDoSaTo and then reinstalling it in a folder without spaces. It wasn't working off of program files so I switched it to my games folder and now it seems to work.

Did they fix where you stop seeing the same pawns in the rift? I'm at grigori fight and I'm a mystic knight and the rest of my group is mages because that is the only thing in my lvl range. This party make up is not working for this fight lol. I have like a 100 friends who have the game on my friends list.

I'm using these low level pawns to give them tons of knowledge and hopefully RC when the servers are fixed.
Currently using Atheena from Tig3r3y3s and Terra from mpk, I was using Mila from a bowl of kimchi before, but he changed her from a mage to fighter :[.
Prolly will keep Atheena around forever since she looks like she could be younger sister to my own pawn.

Haha. I actually have planned to switch the genders from time to time. Just keeping some characteristics identical.
