I actually wouldn't have minded it if they had given you an option to switch between playing as your Arisen and main pawn, given how similarly they function mechanically. It'd have been a good way to let people play as two completely different classes simultaneously, as well; rather than spreading that out over a longer process of replays and reclassing.

Lol nope, it doesn't use their health, it uses their very essence, so instead of going down, you are straight up sacrificing your pawns and thus killing them.
Does absolutely delicious damage though (to things that aren't resistant to dark, like UR/Death)
If you end up using this, it's proper to only use your main pawn, as killed pawns get generic ratings.

Performance is mildly disappointing on my old 7850. It can't hold a locked 60 fps during hectic fights with lots of particle effects and transparencies, even though it does so during arguably more chaotic encounters in the newer (release wise) RE6.

Yep, I actually downgraded most of her gear to everfall status, because her BBI stuff was too good for now.

Took some DogmaGAF pawns on an adventure today.

So I guess you can revisit old areas after a certain time and the loot chests all respawn with new, different loot in them? I just made my way to the tower (I forget its name) to the north and east of Gran Pulse (or whatever) for the 2nd time and it had all new loot, including all the chests in the bandit pass on the way up. Dropped a teleport stone there and gonna go check on it again in a couple days. Got some pretty rad stuff in there like 2 pieces of Griffon armor, which is good for my level and looks pretty gud!

This is a great idea btw. I heard after you beat the game you get unlimited access to the character creator to go back and edit your arisen and pawn. You just gave me the idea that after all the time spent adventuring my tons o' fun arisen is going to start shedding pounds.

Well...yeah, if you keep doing quests, eventually you'll receive the gold idol, like the rest of us. It's not like it's an extremely rare random drop you could possible never encounter.

nah not gonna use it. Just found some sweet Kunai on a quest, finally something better than what I can buy out in the world. That was such a great quest too, or at least the location of the quest. Game needs more of that

Also when I've dismissed all the friendslist pawns it just sends in premade capcom pawns, I'm not getting any random ones.

It's worth it often just for the Augments. Maybe not maxing things out, but playing a bit. Like physical classes get augments that give a good boost to damage resistance, so slapping that on your caster pawn may make them less squishy.

Honestly if not for the multitude of gaf friends, I think I would have struggled for pawns. I see random non-capcom ones out in the world here and there but they aren't nearly as fun or good as gaf ones.

Hopefully it's still just the servers getting updated. I think someone posted that there was potentially 24 hours to fix it all.

You could grab warrior for some good health gains, and I'm sure there are some nice augments that work well for pawns.

That's better than it has been since launch. People were generally seeing around 10 pawns from their friends list.

I did observe that I added 5 pawns from friend list, exited the rift stone menu and then went back into the menu and searched again I would get a different set. Maybe they have it arbitrarily limited each search.

There is another prerendered framerate setting to put to 1 in the Nvidia control panel just above this VR setting.

Anyway, there is something related to your config, game is smooth with gsync here.

I found that setting, but it didn't fix it. I'm not entirely sure, because I was changing a couple things at a time, but I think that moving the RTSS fps cap back up to 144fps instead of 142 may have fixed it. Now it's smooth all the way.

While I was there I fixed my OSD keybind and did some more checking, and the settings I was using for GeDoSaTo (what was the name...Alooo or something like that) were throwing my GPU usage waaaaay up. I need to strip it back and make it purely de-band and SMAA injection.

This game gives you a same kind of satisfication like Dark Souls. When you finally defeat difficult boss after multiple attemps.

That was definitely one of my favorite fights in the game so far. I've done quite a bit in BBL that is harder than that fight but that fight was so epic. The first time I fought the hydra and lost I noticed my pawn was missing but I wasn't sure where he went because I didn't remember seeing an indication to help him and I normally do. The second time I realized that the hydra swallowed him, he did the same thing again and I had to shoot the hydra in the neck where he was swallowing him to break my pawn out! Just amazing.

I know that feel. First Bitterblack weapon I found only wanted to turn into classes I don't play, so I took the sorcerer staff and gave it to her. Cue being carried by my pawn until I found a hammer for myself (which still is weaker than that staff). Bear in mind she's under level 40 with that thing.

And yet people still won't hire her! It has to be busted.
