Haha, I've been mobbed, king hit and been in some deep situations, but I've yet to hit another person in anger. Partly because violence isn't really in my nature, partly because I've got a hard head so just outfacing dudes (when someone has given you their best shot and you laugh at them it tends to take the wind out of their sails) was the better way to resolve the conflict than kicking their teeth in.
The operative word in that above paragraph being 'yet', I will admit I've been a bit mangry lately and have come close to kicking off a few times...

These days the media refers to it as a 'coward punch' - basically to hit someone when they are unaware, usually in the back of the head.
Has been the cause of quite a few deaths over the years, resulting in tougher "one punch laws" being brought in about 2 years ago.
Interesting. Here in the states I think that would be called a "sucker punch". Where you go up behind someone unawares and hit them as hard as possible.
