I've always wanted to write a riddler comic and i always figured if i did i would want it to be a standalone graphic novel.

I'm not really sad about her having a boyfriend or anything. To be honest I'm quite relieved that she already has somebody so I don't have to maintain a long distance relationship because I'm pretty sure I would suck at it.
I was recently accused of hitting on somebody (read: being nice) who is in a relationship. She was just person that I loved to have around me because her presence eased my anxiety and made my life somehow normal again. I thought we had made things clear between us, spent some hours at cafe and talked and talked. Until she freaked out two days later when I suggested to meet up as friends for some sushil, she called me disrespectful and I assume she's just paranoid. It fucking tore me apart and since then some folks are giving me the cold shoulder for no reason what so ever. It really doesn't help my depression being isolated by former 'friends', so fuck it.
I haven't had somebody for a really long time now. Despite having friends and a lot of social interaction I genuinely feel lonely nowadays. It's already complicated enough that I have a difficult taste in women and I don't hook up anymore, my sexuality adds another layer to the complexity of this matter.
Let's see if I run into the Belgian girl again....

A lot of people see Harley and Joker as some kind of ideal relationship because of how much devotion Harley has (had) towards him, but somehow miss the part where he doesn't really give two shits about her unless it's convenient for him and loves Batman more than her-something that she's aware of and is probably one of her major reasons for hating Batman aside from him harming Joker.
Morticia and Gomez Addams have an actual ideal relationship.

Ivy always ended up being the personal to put Harley back together whenever the Joker pulled some bullshit.
Well, in this case it's mostly superfluous fun but for the impact these pop culture relationships can have on young, impressionable minds.
Also, if you enjoy a specific character and then watch as they are written poorly just for the sake of an ill-planned relationship, like Spike in Season 6 of Buffy.
Well I hope they get over it at some point and stop making you feel lonely.

It's the second game I've pre-ordered this generation and I only pre-ordered it after playing the Beta.
All my DOTA mates have been playing Overwatch instead, and we're all pretty serious about DOTA.
It's a damn lot of fun.

I dont play FPS and after playing the beta I want it. Its pretty fun even if I think the map layout could be better and some character tweaks could be done.

I haven't really followed it at all. My basic understanding is that it's an arena shooter with like 25+ characters that all play differently.
Is that pretty much it? Is it just a standard death match type of thing? capture the flag? Is there any single player component? bots?

It means I'll be in a group with 3 or 4 other people. If you have a group of 5 people playing a game together it can be described as a "5 stack"
most of the maps are horribly unbalanced and really suck imo.
still i prefer it over having perfectly straight lines that are symmetrical for both teams *cough* mobas *cough* and its nice that theres a variety of them so each work better with different characters
the modes are dependent on the map and the ones i remember are essentially king of the hill, one where one team is attacking and the other is defending and you have to take two different command posts, and one where you escort a car from one end of the map to the other (have to have more people than they do around it to make it move)
there isn't singleplayer but theres cooperative vs bots with 3 different difficulty levels

Escort -Escort is a Game Mode in which the Attacking team's objective is to move the payload to a delivery point, while the Defenders must halt the Attackers' progress until time runs out.
Assault - Assault is a Game Mode in which the Attacking and Defending teams must attempt to take or defend capture points across the map.
Hybrid - The only currently available hybrid Game Mode starts with an Assault and ends with an Escort section. These two parts behave exactly as their stand-alone Game Modes do.
Control - On Control maps, two teams fight over a series of objective areas in a best-of-three format. When a team is in control of the round’s objective area, they will make progress toward capturing it, and whichever team gets to 100% first wins the round. Each round (up to 3 total) will feature a new objective area located in a different part of the map.
You can play those modes with bots if you wish to play without people but thats it. You can still level up and get loot boxes playing like that so its not too bad I suppose.
You actually get me and the thing about the maps is that it wouldnt take much time to rearrange a few things to actually make it decent which is what annoys me a bit.

they feel like maps made with a level editor by some random modder instead of official maps from the developer
on one map with an escort mission, we were defending and both times i played it, it was nearly impossible to hold until we reached this one chokepoint where the attackers all have to come through the same door. Lucio + reinhardt + some tank + some sniper + someone who's sorta controlly like mei + someone with damage made it impossible for the other team to win.
also i think every character should have some sort of recovery if you can easily instadeath people with pits in some levels

I do appreciate the game letting you know what your team is missing in case people want to reconsider their characters but in the end I roll with what I want to roll anyway.

I like the letting you know what you're missing just for now. i feel like more in the future it will be important to figure out synergies for your team. like lucio sorta sucks with really mobile characters since they're already fast enough and don't stay within your AOEs so much. also attacking vs defending and depending on the map. theres really nothing consistent beyond "do you have a way to get healed?"
I still can't figure out either character tbh.
Lucio, D.va, Pharah, Reaper have been teh characters that most worked for me so far.

Another thing is how some characters depend on having others near too often. Some of those things are mostly cause of the balancing of the game and wanting to be fair with the damage output and life bars but the thing is that most characters that are heavy damage can be usually easy to dodge around if they are in plain sight.
Also is it me or the crouch in the game is mostly worthless?
A little, yeah. I've only been messing with it for about half an hour but I'm having fun. Did some AI matches as Reaper and Reinhardt.
