We get this talk every gen with popular games. Tomb Raider and Uncharted are such easy targets but the argument that they're the worst is paper thin, and I've played enough Phoenix Wright to blow holes in most arguments.

When we live in a world where a new Ace Attorney is coming out or more personal hype, Silver Case is finally getting localised, gaming's gonna do fine.

On a dick note (TMI incoming), I've been having trouble keeping mine up for a while now. At first I thought it was antidepressant related but since I've gone off that, the problem persists. The doctor tried to prescribe me that old faithful, Viagra but at $44 a pill (50 mg), insurance rejected it (and who can blame them? That's outrageous). They also rejected Revatio, which is the same active ingredient but meant for a different use. It ends up being $10 for two pills (20 mg each). I don't think sex is worth $10 and I definitely don't think it's worth $44. Doesn't leave me a lot of options (aside from pumps, yay) but it's not like I'm getting any anyway.

I hate pharmaceutical companies.

Took my midterm

Made progress in the art of conversation. I'm not the most conversation-savvy person that the world has every known but I'm at least average-slightly above average now. Feels pretty good.

Jobbs touched on quite a bit of it but I think these games represent something particularly evil in the industry: taking away control from the player. As soon as freedom is lessened, video games stop being video games and start being movies. And in that case I would much prefer to watch a film since they are better at telling a story.

These kinds of games peddle the illusion of control and they try to sell you on it by flashy graphics. It's gross

I had a brief period where I thought I was having dick issues. A combination of injury, age, stress, undiagnosed blood pressure issues, depression, alcohol and the fact I kinda wasn't into the girl I was boning / trying to bone created the perfect storm.

100 mg viagra pills did nothing, 10 mg cialis gave it a bit of a bump. Getting back into shape with some cardio and weights? Rock hard son, rock hard, 'cause that wiped out the stress, blood pressure issues and pulled me out of my depression. Now, due to age and injury I don't get quite as big as I used to, but no-one is complaining about 7" (yes yes, small for GAF I know).

Now, with your health issues I'm not sure what exercises you can do, but it's the best advice I can offer you. Oh, and if I recall the active chemicals in viagra / cialis have no effect on ~33% of dudes.

Let me tell you though, having to have a conversation with your FWB and Dr about your dick not working right will fuck with the old male ego.

Em said it was a good show but the first few episodes are complete garbage and I didn't have the willpower to make it through them in a single sitting. Once my shows go on hiatus and I've had some time recoup I may go back.

Look I think it comes down to more people like games this way than not. It would be evil in my opinion to deprive these people of that just because you don't share in the appreciation.

I know it sucks to be in the minority. But like Zeemumu said it's not like we aren't getting other kinds of games. We're getting all sorts of kinds of games.


I also want to say that I think modern Tomb Raider has much better gameplay than the original one. Perhaps not in certain aspects of traversal (debatable) or puzzles, but definitely in combat encounters and stage design.

Season one is the only season that they use a ton of CGI. There's only one instance that I can think of in season 2 (edit: 2 or 3 but it's not bad) with it and it is also very minimal in season 3.

The quality of the show definitely improves, with its peak happening in season 2, episode six. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

But if we're talking about season one, I promise it gets better and goes from Dawson's Creek to murder fest. Clarke's transformation is quality shit.

Octavia's cool but she annoys me sometimes, I hate how she treats Clarke on occasion, but I feel that way with everyone these days. Jasper especially.
