The momentum was from Ambrose being the final 2 in the Royal Rumble along with HHH. Plus he's in the main event of Fastlane because he was the final men that lasted in the event, not because he's IC champ.

Take away the title and this build up would not have changed at all.

Of course it would have. Then it makes no sense for Owens not to get jnvolved in the main event if he beat Ambrose. It would have undermined his character.

Rewatching the ending of the Henry - Big E match and Mark didn't show any signs of being injured in the setup to the big ending. Once Big E got him in on his shoulder, Henry looked fine for a few seconds then clearly pulled himself out of the move. It looked like Henry's waist was the contact point between him and Big E's shoulder, but I assume that could cause pressure to go throughout Henry's torso. Still, not a good sign for Henry.
