I believe as much as well, but ZMC is no slouch. Personally, I feel like a team that creates mix up opportunities + Zero's high mobility would be way scarier than the one touch stuff from ZMC. With that setup, he has to get the one touch, something that can be scouted and defended against whereas a vortex Zero will whittle you down absurdly fast.
 
For $12 I'll probably do the HD. Last year when I hooked up my laptop to my TV and watched Grand Finals it looked like a blurry mess, so it will be nice to relax on a comfy couch and watch high-res fightan gams.
 
Also, sorry to bug you USD, but I didn't see an answer before so I'm just wondering - are you going to do another Road to Evo thread this year? I loved the last one.

Zero / Doom / Dante does everything for Doom but you lose the comeback factor of Mr. Gucci Belt.

You still TOD, and you have a vertical assist in jam session and a horizontal assist in plasma beam. DHC well into each other as well. Only problem is that Dante anchor isn't that scary...

Oh sorry for not answering earlier, but yes, I'm going to try to have something up by the weekend. Since I'm going to be doing this for SRK too, I'm gonna to try to figure out how I'm going to do it, whether I'm just linking from there or re-formatting everything for GAF. We'll see.
 
is there going to be any other events evo weekend? like LoL or some other game that gets a ton of views? wonder if the HD stream will be getting priority or will we also have to suffer laggy streams.

You can TOD with Flocker's team. Dante is also a decent anchor especially with Xfactor since he has everything an anchor wants then although admittedly not as derp as Vegil currently.
 
my only concern about hd is, will i be able to watch hd at a constant of 500 KBps?
also will south america have like a server or something so we can watch the stream with no Issuea (i really dont know how srteam servers work )

Any Zero team should be able to TOD honestly... Even the one that are more mixup oriented should be able to TOD if they wanted to (or have the execution to *multiple LL in same combo*.

Flockers team is basically like Killer Kai's team but more dangerous. You have one nice horizontal arrow assist and a combo extender in Vergil.

I still wouldn't say that team is better than Zero, Doom, Dante if we are talking about *best team for Zero*, and not overall team.

I suggested on SRK that maybe they should do a guideline on HD streams. What type of connection and hardware is necessary to make it a smooth as possible.

well seth killian isn't with them anymore so i probably wouldn't care if it happened. not that i would necessarily do this if i was there but i'm not going to cry about it.
 
You know, as much as I don't like SFxTK, the villainous hate for it and it's existence scares me. I presume it's all buyers who got burnt, but damn, hate has exceeded that for MK9.

It's very much because of people being burned by it.

MK9's hate comes not from hate of the game, but because it's simply an awful spectator game.

I like the base of it. Two great franchises going at it. The stuff on top, though... :/

MK9 didn't actively piss off the community, and NRS outperformed the FGC's expectations (which were that it would be completely broken)

You get a lot of drama on a disappointing game if the expectations were higher. SFxTK as a debacle reminds me heavily of the Elemental: War of Magic debacle of 2010- game with huge expectations ends up a complete bomb.

I'm wondering what these infinites are going to do to Marvel. No matter what Capcom does, it's going to get crapped on either way, I expect the folks who will want a patch vs no patch will be 50/50 in the competitive community after Evo.

Gotta remember, some folks like being able to learn stuff like this and get free wins- it's about the results not the journey for some folks.

Yeah different reasons for hate, but damn the magnitude of it for SFxTK has surpassed it by far.

Just being at Toryuken and seeing someone yell out "NO ONE WANTS TO PLAY THAT FUCKING SHITTY GAME" when the TO asked of anyone wanted SFxTK stations to practice was this weird stream-monster-IRL moment that was kind of unexpected, cause everyone there agreed with the guy.
