I'm loving this Midas final boss theme. It's literally just an 80s super robot intro/insert song. Praise be to Soken, taking one of my favorite things and just putting in one of my favorite games.

Time to work on red scrip again. Jesus fuck. Time to also grab nothing but control IVs.

Also hearing that soul bonus is a fancy 20/20. Which makes it useless for stats, but a lot of SpecialistRequired stuff so \o/ gg se

Also Max Pots appear to be a yeild of 1, with the same insane craft/control reqs.

I don't even know what to say.

Astrologian Sephirot weapon looks pretty nice but I need to see it in game. Blm lore weapon looks damn badass though. But I'm not sure I want to use it or still my zeta for glamour. Tough choice.

So, I guess best path for the lore items would be: Chest +Legs first 4 weeks, 1 accessory for Week 5 (or maybe save for head, gloves, legs?) then save for weapon.
Edit: Actually I'm shit at math, I think u have enough tomes for head, gloves or legs week 5 and will still have enough for weapon by week 7.

Void Ark Matter exchange is all the combat related Vs, no Crafting / Gathering. Likewise, Diadem Spoils Exchange did not get them added either.

Looks like each Beast Tribe has their own set of Materia rewards as far as I can tell (only checked Amal'jaa at time of this post: STR, VIT, PIE, Parry, SSPD).

Which also means there's pretty much no point in getting the chest from Midas normal for anybody, since it's a minimum of 4 weeks and by that point you'll have your i230.

I really, really want to see Stone, Sky, Sea for Midas Savage now

The craft/control caps don't seem that bad? At least not as bad as I thought they'd be. Just using the 3.05 red scrip gear with no right side melds gets you over the requirement with food (if your specialist 20/20 boost is correct anyway). The rich people who use melded crafted red scrip gear will be well over minimum. Actually HQing the stuff is another story of course. At least they were nice enough to make the crafted gear cheap outside of the single new mat, would of been worse if it needed Grade 2 dissolvents instead of the easy grade 1
watch that single mat be crazy expensive

Also Max Pots appear to be a yeild of 1
this is pretty dumb though.

Best I can tell is that they cost 20 / 50 Esoterics. But everything about those numbers makes me confused because they're so easy.

Didn't Yoshi-P imply that obtaining crafted materials would be easier this go around? Maybe our prayers have been answered. Or maybe we are missing the GOTCHA-aspect.

What I think is hitting me as really weird about the requirements is that it takes 7 weeks of Alex Normal to get a tome weapon, so crafted i220 chest/legs are quite a bit less important than they initially seemed. You can get Normal pants and the Lore chest week 2, swap in Lore pants two weeks later, and not delay the weapon purchase at all.

This stuff is all relatively tough to make if you haven't been long-term crafting, but the shelf life on it is much smaller than people would expect based on prior tiers.

I'm also salty that all the crafted Allagan/HA stuff is gated behind 850/820 and specialization too. There's an interesting contrast between the push for longevity in crafters and the complete raid tier reset.

Retainer brought me a fat cat
15 Eso per beast tribe quest!!
Love the eso price nerf
It's good to be excited about playing this again.

Starting to download the patch now, smaller in size than i expected though its downloading a bit slow. I'll be done in half an hour.

EDIT: I'm really oddly excited for this content patch, not because i think it looks especially special, just want more game to play!

So you do see other players in Stone Sky Sea. So for stuff like static recruitment or even PF groups (or replacement members) you can go see them attempt it and see if they clear. I guess honor system trusting they chose the specific content, but still.

From what I can tell on Stone, Sky, Sea is different per job.

I passed the A4S one with some spare time, but don't know if I would have pre-MCH-buff.

ACT debreak please.
