really happy the last relic upgrade is basically a throw away step makes up for all the hell they put people through since atmas. I fully expect people to have there zeta weapons before the day is over.

Looking at the Zeta quest. I'm okay with it. I still gotta get my zodiac first though.
First mahatma done in a few hours entirely off alex maps and FATES. Not bad I guess. I don't think the steps scale exactly--I counted 4 FATES for the first phase change on my second mahatma, but was like seven or eight FATES for the final step on my first one?
Also getting a ton of alex drops.

Hi everyone!
I recently downloaded the free trial version on PS4 as i wanted to try this out. Have downloaded everything and all the updates.
when i launch the game it seems to know i have a square-enix account (which i guess i created when i bought ffxiv on ps3 when that launched) and it forces me to log in to this acc, doesn't even give an option to create a new acc or select something to say this isn't my acc. I logged in after resetting passwords and i just get a message no valid service account is available to play ffxiv.
My thought process was along the lines of since i haven't owned it for ps4 i would be able to try it out. Am i getting this message due to my previous ps3 game? And if so does that mean i am not able to try on PS4?

Fair enough i guess. If i buy the 30 day £8.99 option off the square enix website, do i need to stay with the character i created originally (got no idea what it was), or can i create a new character?

2 - I'm a BRD and she's a SCH. I was looking at our optimal Novus build and it's actually the same: 44 Crit and 31 Det, the most expensive thing ever! Should me try that or is there any cheaper version that's also great?

On the first point, We still have 2.5 part 2 in late March so I'm more than sure anyone can get from Zenith to Zeta by the expansion. It's all about how much time you put into it of course but it is possible.

If playing actively but not all day
Atma+Animus take up about 2 weeks
Novus might take anywhere from a few days to a bit over a week depending on how lucky you get with fates and or hunts.
Nexus takes maybe a week or under if you catch good windows
Zodiac takes 1-2 weeks depending on your luck
Zeta takes ten hours.
All in all a couple of months.
Some people nolifed it hard and went from Zenith to Zodiac in 1 week but I presume that's not an option for most.
If you haven't been doing it all along at this point I can't call a relic anything but a thing-to-do-if-nothing-else.
Nope, only thing we lose is MGP (the match fee whenever you challenge an NPC)
Oh, lovely then. Release date maybe?
Eh I dunno. I could go all in with seals on alexandrite now that they have poverty twine which would give me a good i110 weapon by the end of the week. Even if I cheap it and go crit/det/acc that would still be better than Shiva i115 taking into account the secondary stats right?
