You have been lately looking more swole than you had previously. Awesome work sweetie pie! Keep up the good work!

you think? I really have no window of reference for the recent past, I mean, if I compare myself to my beginnings 2 years ago, well yes, there's progress but compared to, say, the last 6 months, I feel like I go in circles winning and losing weight, some selfies look ok some other do not.

I do sometimes feel during workout that changes are there and are real but then when I am cold, in my all-day activites, I think I look the same as before. basically what I said in my last post which you kindly answered to :)

good back selfies are hard to achieve, but this one somehow shows a bit of meat, haha I liked it.

thanks!

Yup. I've recently started running a mile and a half. Just a quick burst of cardio about 3 or 4 times a week to combat my added cheat day on Sundays. My first attempt I did it in 12 minutes. Pretty bad. Yesterday was my fourth try and I got 9:10! Nothing earth shattering but I was proud of it.

There you go. Some non lifting, selfie, protein, flirting talk! ;-)

That's actually a pretty sweet improvement. I'm training for a big building climb (140+ floors) so I'm trying to balance the weights with a little cardio to give me the endurance to force my way up in a respectable time

where does that animosity come from?

Youtube comments aren't clear enough as to who's the asshole, there are fans on both sides. they say Phil is always trying to block kai in every competition, others say Kai is a sore loser cause he can't ever beat Phil, who knows.

Kai has sex with grapefruits so Phil is the winner in my eyes

My little brother's cross country times are making me feel pretty bad about my conditioning. He's down to 15:49 for 3 miles. As soon as I'm medically cleared to do strenuous exercise I'm going to see if I can balance lifting and cardio decently....

yeah but he probably can't sprint and probably has no strength or muscle development.

source: i ran cross country all 4 years in hs. sucked at the 5k but my mile got down to sub 5.

I know, I ran multiple years of it too, though wasn't as fast as him. I don't have any delusions of being competitive with him over XC race distances. It's just a reminder of how much I enjoyed long runs in certain areas, and how I could probably benefit from more conditioning than the near-nonexistent amount I do.

Well I've had 3 weeks now of adding my cheat day which has consisted of at least a full 18" pizza and a half dozen doughnuts. It may have added a percentage or two to my body fat but I'm ok with that. I'm happy I can maintain what's below with a weekly feast!

About 180 here with some added effects because I was bored!

Both. Phil is an asshole though and he does try to block kai at every comp.

My 5K time is at about 23 minutes at the moment, nothing to write home about but not awful either. My aim is to be able to tun 8km in 30 minutes, anything more than that is a bonus.

I'm running a lot of cardio right now but so far my sprinting hasn't been affected. I can still sprint 100m in under 11 seconds and my 40 metre time is damn fast as well.

Still early days in terms of strength gains (only got back into things in the last 2 months) but so far it hasn't impacted my progression there either.

I personally have found that I can't serve two masters and really push both the weights and the cardio at the same time, so have to make some compromises. When I get stronger though I can usually get better at the cardio pretty quickly, like building a house on a stronger foundation. I'm not interested in being a specialist and I lean more towards strength so I doubt I'll be competitive, but it's good for me and I want to be capable in strength and endurance up to a point.

My system right now is twenty minutes of pretty hard rowing after the weights, three times a week. Once the climb is done I'll likely cut it to twice a week

You are very welcome. I have been around about half a year and I can say I think you look different compared to when I started to follow this. Your upper body seems to be definitely bigger than it used to. Admittedly it is harder for me to compare you in your everyday life, but at least in every photo you have posted to here you have shown some progress. :D

What comes to back I am actually a bit sad I was stupid enough not to take a comparison pic of my back before I started. I don't think I have any proper photos of my back side. It would have been nice to actually see the differences on that side as well. Then again there hasn't really been any changes in the last month or so due to not-so-on-spot diet. Oh well, at least I haven't gone backwards and I feel better even if scale doesn't show it at all.

But yeah, anyways, kitty, I think you look bigger than you used to and that is based only to the last six months or so. :)

I used to go jogging and I still find it more satisfying compared to nordic walking. At the moment I think I am still going to stick with the latter (even if it is bascily just me feeling silly for two hours compared to me being happy and feeling effective for 45 minutes). Oh well.

There you go. Some non lifting, selfie, protein, flirting talk! ;-)

Not gonna lie, but i have serious pwo addiction. Lifting on coffee is just not the same. Pwo really does keep the focus and pump. Cycled through C4, Whiteflood, Hemorage, NOexplode (garbage) and Jack3D. I LIKE Jack3D the best and is pretty much my go to

I hope there is a video of that Fred Smalls dance routine - so cringeworthy.
If it's anything like this one then I want to see!!!

This robot will always be one of my favorite muscle-vogue style routines! How awesome? SO AWESOME!

Diplo always does the best sets, saw him last weekend
Last year was my first time out and the venue was up to a younger girl who was celebrating her 21st. She "didn't want to dance to twerk music" which apparently vetoed Diplo, so we ended up seeing Little John at XS. The night swim venue did not appeal to me outside of wearing a speedo. No way was I going to get into that water, ugh sick. The decision maker in question also did the least amount of dancing out of anyone, lol.

To add to the comedy, at one point Little John stopped the music entirely and began insisting that everybody do the "Soulja Boy" dance the right way or else he couldn't continue. I and apparently many others found this to be an objectionable request. Many boos and hisses were unleashed and eventually he relented. Thank you for confirming Diplo still has it, I am really excited!

I had been taking C4 by consuming the entire dose before I lifted but then I began to realize I was spiking about halfway through the hour long workout, or at the very least noticeably on the down-trend of that experience when I was going to hit my heavy compound. I decided to try and drink it in thirds and sip on it in between the three larger doses throughout the entire session and I find it to be a lot more beneficial this way. I agree that it just feels nice. Kind of like hype music. Sure neither of them are "necessary" but they bring it all into a cleaner focus or at the very least more of a ritual.

Damn Imm0rt4l you make those stringer tanks look good! Sick!

What is the next best flavor for ON Whey after Double Chocolate, or what do you think is superior? I mix it with milk or greek yogurt. Caveat is that im not going to get either banana flavor as im allergic to the real thing and I dont even want to find out.

people stare at my ass when I squat :(

there's a mirror in front of the power rack so I see what everybody's doing.

today two kids were laughing and basically talking about it, not giving a fuck at all that I could see them. A minute later another guy was resting and he couldn't help to stare too.

I swearI am minding my own business, but I do use tight, cyclist lycra shorts but that's because I need as much freedom of movement on my legs as possible.

dunno, they were some 14 year old curl bros who don't know what a squat is for,

something tells me they were laughing at it because they think the squat is a girl's move and guys shouldn't do moves that gets you a bigger ass, that's for girls and ****** (insert whatever offense you like here).

I'll never now, I just know they were annoying in the way they talked and behaved.

Nike Romaleos II on sale at Foot Locker. Delivered to store and with code LKS1494R it came out to $102. It's mostly the Red/Gold/Black color if you can wear 11s and up. Other colors available but you got to be like a size 15.

Edit: Forgot about tax.

King Kong aint got shit on me....

What exercises do you do for your shoulders? I wanna get the type of shoulders I can perpetually walk around in a vest in. :D. Although I feel my arms are getting more defined, last week I ate too much bread because I lost 0 kg of weight. I didn't put on any but damn I lost nothing. I can't wait till my knee has recovered cos then I can go back to running. I might have to try rowing because it's apparently a a full body workout, the thing is the treadmill forces you not to be lazy something other exercises like the bikes can't do. Does anyone else always feel perpetually sore?

I'm 5 10 at 155lbs. Go every day, am low carb. Have a protein shake every day. Spend an hour or a little more at the gym to what I feel I need to do that day. I work legs on my runs.

Things I notice are my abs, and delts are lacking compared how I'd like them. Considering where I was early this year I am glad to see where I'm at and I'm curious to get some insight. Pecs too, :/ I dislike mine

3 miles before my workout. and i'm looking up HST now but why are you suggesting it?

I think I can cut cardio or move it after my workout, and use the rowing machine for 10-20minutes.

Finally managed to throw off my housemates now ex bf.

Went to the gym with him and he was total broscience and spent 2 hours working out. "Do this, do that etc.." Where as my workout take 70mins Max.

It ate up my whole day. Working with a partner just wasn't convenient for me and was a major time sink.

Problem was he was overly nice and wouldn't stop asking to go every single day.

Finally messaged him saying will go in my own time around my college schedule.

It's pretty much impossible to give any advice without knowing what routine you're doing. For a start i'd say that you need to stop doing your cardio before your workout. I'd also say that doing long distance cardio isn't really working out your legs at all. Not saying you won't get decent looking legs but i wouldn't expect to add any size (you might get the opposite result even).

If you post your actual workout we can give advice on how it looks and ways to improve it.

Failed my first rep on 60 kg/130lbs squat. Had the bar off balance and apparently my right knee caves in. Being the stubborn ass I am I went to do the set again before deloading to 50 kg/110lbs. Still, my knee wanted to cave, my right foot wants to shift weight on the inner side. Thinking of lowering the weight another 10 kg/20lbs next time and get this sorted out. Also did some squats with the bar only to get the technique down better.

I'm guessing it's a flexibility issue, I had joint problems when I was a kid and as a result my right leg has more muscle than my left one (ironic, right) and my knee and hip flexibility is bad. 6 months ago it was really painful to squat down, now it's easier but still not comfortable. At least I know what stretches I have to do, will work on those even if they're not comfortable.

I tried to do the squat in the low bar position, is there much difference with the high bar in regards to flexibility needed? Will probably try to compare them on wednesday.

And I had different shoes today for better traction. Flat sole cloth Nike's, albeit the sole is thicker than on the previous shoes.

Being pussified I also went from DL 80lg/170lbs to 50kg/110lbs. This guy commented that I had some caving here as well and advised for a palms outward grip for better thorastic? extension. My upper back is whack, so I guess it's a solid advice.
