Does everyone use FItocracy to track workouts here?

I signed up for it early on but never used it because I wasn't motivated enough to go to the gym like I am now.

I'm using Jefit now.

I decided unless I can walk into a store and get quest bars for 1 each without coupon bs, I'll just not bother unless I need a single one for emergency feedings. Done being a slave to the quest bar.

I use Google keep for keeping track of lifts.

I hate when people stand back and watch instead of asking to work in.

I asked ( I always have to my mates just stand there waiting) . He said he had like 10 more sets but took like 10min breaks after each one. I asked again if I could get my set done during a break and he said nope.I gave up in the end and moved on, annoying I missed out tho.

That's bs. I always ask if people want to work in if they're waiting cuz I rest a lot. It's no big deal to unrack plates in between sets.

One of the posted rules in my gym says you have to let people work in if they ask.

Usually people are cool with working in. If not, let them know it's going to happen anyway. At that point they either deal with it or run off angry. Either way you're not letting equipment go to waste.

In my opinion, no. Not the standard 0.75" heel. Plus the PL Trainer shoes also have compression issues when you get to like 400# total load (including BW. So you can be 180# and be squatting 220#, you will see compression of the heel). It may cause your feet to roll to the side depending on how you squat, such as if you keep the pressure on the sides of the feet. The only WLing shoes I would recommend if you want to buy from Adidas are the adiPower, PowerPerfect 2, and the adiStar, with the latter two being discontinued). If you really want WLing shoes in the sub-$100 price range, I would suggest you look at the Wei-Rui Warriors.

I'm with you there. Doing squats and deadlifts make me feel so damn strong. Then there is the OHP which makes me feel like a 12 year old schoolgirl.

Also, maintaining the positive slope on thoses lines has been one of my main motivators.

Basically (and someone please correct me if I'm wrong)

Steroids:produce new hormones

Prohormone: enhances the hormones you have.
Not quite (N.B. parts of the following post mightn't be quite right either). What you're referring to here Sean are commonly called "test boosters". Instead of introducing exogenous hormones they claim to boost the body's own production of testosterone (or convert test to a different compound like DHT). A lot of these products will be marketed based on studies showing that their key ingredient raises testosterone in individuals with suppressed levels, so they're often just placebos for healthy individuals.

Prohormones are different in that they're precursors to hormones. You take it and the body converts it into a hormone (in this case an anabolic androgenic steroid hormone), so unlike test boosters they're introducing an exogenous source of hormones into the body. The consensus seems to be that they're steroids "light": there are still the associated risks/side effects, post-cycle therapy is still required and since 2004 they have been banned in the USA under the Anabolic Steroid Control Act.

Just anecdotally, but if someone says they're not fully natty because they've done test boosters or prohormones, they've probably done a cycle or two but are trying to downplay it.

Just impressive. Nothing really to say more than that. The squat was clean as fuck too. And I would count the bench as well :)

Still at 1400 calories a day, still on the keto train. Hit 180lbs on ohp today and it was honestly really easy. I'm happy that i feel so strong still on such low calories and still lifting heavy. My pumps at the gym have been really nice, looking super cut but don't want to be that douche and take pics of it. Soon tho. Oh, and 8th belt hole achieved. I need to go back through my posts to see when i first got my belt, i could only get 2nd or 3rd belt hole when i first got it months ago and now at 8th.

Really, really impressive. You've really made the most out of that bulk. But i'll be honest, even when i do eventually bulk, its going to be 1lb a week or 2 bulk. I have 0 intention of ever getting fat again once i get lean. My guess is i'm at ~27% or so body fat now, getting there slowly but surely. Will weigh myself later this week.

I didn't want to say anything, but you sure like to judge people quite often. People have different goals, if they just want to be curl bros to impress chicks, then let them. That is not a wrong way to lift, they have their agenda and goals and that's it. Obviously having nice total package is preferred, but a lot of dudes only lift to impress others, and honestly you don't need huge legs for that. I've heard more then enough women tell me that they think big huge legs are nasty and not attractive. To each their own.

Squats look a little high, but you're still clearly making progress on them and the most of the bulk. I'd be pissed as hell at the spotters in the last two videos no doubt. I'd start doing that shit in a power cage with safety catches so you don't need them. Either way, good work bud.

I'm not doing barbell curls on GSLP, but you still do progressive overload on the BB curls, like on any other movement. On Johnny Pain's forum:

Holy balls man. I was struggling with my 5x215 squat tonight lol. Beyond impressive.

After the first year of lifting the only opinion that matters is your own.

My legs are built for purpose, and if my wife doesn't like them, tough shit. :D

I've got a bad cold today. Do I need more or less intake on a sick day to keep on track? (I cheated with a small Shamrock Shake from McDonald's while I got unexpectedly stuck for hours during errands that I couldn't bear).

Between 10 and 15 rep. If you go over 15 reps, I fairly sure you double the weight increase next time you do the lift (so 5#). If you get between those 10-15 reps, you increase weight by 2.5# next time. Once you get below 10 reps, you decrease the weight by 10% next time. Does this answer your question?

Or maybe it's once you get to 15+ reps on both sets, you increase the weight by 2.5#, as you questioned in your original post? I'm not 100% sure because I don't do barbell curls on GSLP.

Getting more serious about my lifting. Been using some casual sneakers until now, but just ordered a pair of Adidas adiPowers.

Hopefully, they can help me push harder with more stability.

Thinking about ordering a belt as well. Any suggestions?

Max effort upper body today, worked up to a 300 lb floor press. Definitely got the most out of that lift it was a real grinder.
