Not feeling the Nymeria scene. No payoff. I guess maybe it'll come into play later and this was just a "hey guys remember Nymeria for later plis"

There was a pay-off. Arya's line references a scene from the beginning of the series.

Ned saying she'll be a courtly lady and Arya saying "that's not me, that's Sansa".
She'll probably pick up her Cersei hunt.

And yes, the wolves will return no doubt.

Very enjoyable episode. I liked SFX's take on it.

If there is a better representation of the word "hipster" than the over-reacting fidget-spinner-spinning girl watching GoT while being filmed watching said TV show at a bar, I haven't seen it.
What does any of that have to do with hipsters?

Why the hate for the Sand snakes? They weren't characters to root for or anything like that but seems like I missed someththing.

They killed J-Bash! (aka. Julian Bashir)

Seriously though, the sand snakes are just really poorly devleoped characters. It's the same problem with Euron. Nobody cares about him because he's barely been in the show and is basically a cartoon character.

they also killed their innocent cousin and conspired to kill Myrcella.

so was that the whole iron fleet that got destroyed or just a few ships to escort the sand snakes back?
now that the sand snakes are gone - do they still have the dornish army on their side?

ellaria awaits a gruesome death in kings landing.........

Was episode two better than the first episode? On the brink of quitting the show.

You know what, probably better. Rewatched a bit of the first episode with one of those "Bar reaction" videos posted, it's definitely much worse than I originally thought. I would never want to rewatch that whole thing. I think we're in Season 5-tier right now.

S5 was a struggle, but I wouldn't quit unless it becomes unbearably boring.

The might of human ingenuity. Maybe the bolt is made of special metal, but I was so relived to see it was just a strong ballista. I thought the maester did another Mountain mutation experiment and we'd be getting necromancer skeleton dragons or something.

I had the same thought after Qyburn said he was working on a solution and then they went into the dungeon with the dragon bones. I think we'll still get undead dragons, though. Qyburn will kill one or more of the dragons with the ballista, but it'll be the Night King that brings them back to life.

Good episode but the greyworm scene was overdrawn and comical. Did we really need softcore pornography between two minor characters in this short ass season? I dont care about them, lets not waste time on this shit.

Arya and Nymeria's reunion was bittersweet. I hope Nymeria shows up later in the season and rejoins her siblings along with the Starks. Of course Jon leaves when Arya and Bran are about to reach Winterfell. SMH.

Excited about Jon and Dany's meeting next week. Hyped.

Anyone else find it weird that they've got all of this other technology but are apparently just now getting around to inventing the ballista?
I'm pretty sure it was already invented, this is just the super optimized version that can penetrate a dragons skull if it remains perfectly still 15 feet away.

That was a good episode and im so happy the sand snakes are gone. Euron is gonna be my fave this season i reckon

An i echo the sentiments about that weird ass sex scene with greyworm. So ott and that is a problem game of thrones has had since the start.

If the series was more tactful and subtle it wouldve improved it from a decentshow to a great show.

I assume it's nothing but why was Arya zoned out when she met Hotpie? Especially before Hotpie tells her that Jon Snow is King of the North.
The previous episode she was having a laugh with Ed Sheeran and the band.

She was just a bit pensive I think, being in relatively safe place.

Yeah, glad the Snakes are gone too. Euron is such a goddamn badass I cant help but root for his crazy ass.

Man, when the music started playing as Arya decides to head back to Winterfell...fucking chills you guys. The Stark theme gets me so emotional.

I think it's to show in a civilized place she's not fully comfortable or at home anymore. She's wild now, not domesticated to the cultural norms anymore

Arya has seen AND done some shit and is constantly on the road with a very clear objective. She's spent the last two seasons training with emotionless assassins. Likely not used to genuine friendship at this point.

We really didn't need that unnecessary long greyworm scene.

I hope Arya actually sees one of her siblings and nothing unexpected happens.

Yeah, I think it's to show us how much she has changed. She is kinda numb to it all now.

Probably the worst speech in Game of Thrones so far. Excellent episode otherwise, but holy shit, this part had me cringing.

Wrong opinion. The most vile, disgusting thing shown on the show so far was Obarra's speech when asked if she would join Ellaria.

"When I was a girl..."

I'm glad she's dead

We really didn't need that unnecessary long greyworm scene.
Speak fo yoself. Long live Nathalie Emmanuel's body double.

One day I realized that sadness is just another word for not enough coffee.
She just got done assassinating one house and was on her way to assassinate another.

What's funny about this is, Arya isn't even a particularly high level assassin and she just leveled the Freys by herself. Supposedly these assassins can be hired but even the Lannisters balked at their rates.

That is some HIGH GRADE job training she got there.

I laughed at the "a foreign invasion is underway" line by Ellaria. Shit was so corny and then Yara's expression afterwards just made it all the funnier.
