Tiny Knight of Evil seems really bad

It is for now. It won't be if Blizzard starts setting up more tools for a Warlock discard deck, which they have pretty clearly signaled they are going to do.

Not this expansion. Next expansion perhaps, or the expansion after this one.
 
Warlock will eventually need a minion that lets you choose which card to discard I'd think. The random element will end up being the biggest limiting factor.

It's hard to go TOO ham into any one mechanic for the whole expansion. At best, you create one new archetype of Deck to play for the Class. At worst, you create a bunch of faff and fobble.

Whether the cards are good or bad is a different case altogether (most will be bad of course that's just how card expansions go over) but they definitely brought quite a lot of interesting cards that got the discussions going .


They should've added more cards for it then.
They said that some cards added in right now are precursors for decks that might be formed later down the line with more cards.

Something like Steamweedle Sniper is an example of that it's an Inspire esque card before Inspire type decks were a thing.

I never understood people talking shit with like 10 cards revealed. An expansion this big is always gonna change the meta if it's made halfway competently. The adventure expansions are way more likely to fizzle.

Priest got some fun cards, even if they weren't competitive.

Love CONVERT. Holy shit.

Putting into your hand is kind of cool; lets you take advantage of the battlecry.

With Power Word: Glory and some of the other burst heals, maybe Priest won't have to run Deathlords anymore.
They're solid cards but don't really have the same purpose. Unless it gets silenced Deathlord lets you mop up all the early game garbage aggro plays which Priest otherwise has a tough time dealing with efficiently. You either have Holy Nova whose 2 damage are often too late on 5, Lightbomb which is more of a midrange clear, or Auchenai+CoH which is fast and deals with almost anything but is a 2-card combo, so often you won't draw it in time. You can't just heal the damage because with each turn more and more garbage will be chipping away your health.

Deathlord also lets you build a board instead of blowing an entire midgame turn for AoE to kill 1-2-drops.

Taunt dragon is a great counter to patron. Too bad it has too many caveats to see play.

What's with these stats.
It's a really powerful card. This card with UTH is a board wipe against the strongest of boards.


This card on the other hand is more interesting because it it's like a cheaper Baron Geddon. Obviously does not fit into any existing Hunter deck but maybe a slow Control Hunter deck down the line.


I like both of these Hunter cards. They promote slow, control oriented playstyles. They might never see play but they are cool cards nonetheless.

2 mana to copy a minion on board still seems bad. You have to combine this spell with removal or whatever minion you want to copy is going to roll you over. It's more of the card/minion stealing gimmick that I didn't think priest needed.

The card even limits you to Enemy minions. It would be better if I could build my deck around it.

I don't think that's an autoinclude. It would be at 2/3, but at 2/2 I'm not so sure.

At least one, because it doesn't have to be played the same turn, like Dragon Consort. You could wait (and probably should) for a combo.

The stats are whatever, they aren't really anything.
 
I feel like they could have afforded to give Acidmaw better stats. Yeah it's a powerful effect, especially with UTH, but 4/2 for 7? Sheesh. Plus Acidmaw dies from Dreadscale's effect, although Dreadscale seems to survive through it.

Edit: Actually reading Acidmaw again, maybe it does survive Dreadscale's effect? It does say "another minion" instead of "a minion." Maybe it's not as bad in that respect.
