I am loving this new brawl! Not only it is original and fun, but it is also kind of semi-balanced, even if it tilts a bit towards annoy-o-tron you can beat him as long as you don't let him stablish early board dominance and then bring on your heavyweights (mad bomber, dr. Boom, etc). Great stuff!
I am -this- close to being able to forge a legendary. Common sense says Dr.Boom, but coolness says "Paletress, Anthonidas or Illiadan"
Funny I was thinking that the boom bot was the stronger deck.
Also, super happy I got a golden dreadsteed from my Rank 5 pack. Don't have that card yet, so very cool.

Got 3 priest cards myself. Circle of Healing, Lightspawn, and Shadowfiend.
I already had one golden Lightspawn so that evened me out there. I didn't have a second Shadowfiend either, so even though its not really a playable card I appreciated picking it up.

I like the early days of the ladder in a month. Good players are willing to test more decks because losing ranks is a big deal, so you often see different stuff at this point even from competent players.
You could be a little lame and go smorc though

I'll add you, my friend's list is quite small too (and, to be a bit rude, only one or two of them have a decent win ratio... not that I'm really one to talk). I'll have to do it when I get home later tonight, though.
Now, for a question. This week's Tavern Brawl is kicking my bum. I'm still a bit new at Hearthstone (playing for a couple months, finally getting the hang of proper decks builds, although my card collection is still lacking), anyone have any advice for it? I just lost 5 in a row, though the last one was down to luck and the other player getting the perfect random weapon from Bigtron. I just want my pack

I tried out poisoned blade last night and it wasn't that terrible. If your opponent doesn't have weapon destruction and is slow (like all these fatigue warriors), you can get a huge weapon. So decks that run a lot of removal don't have a way to interact with your gameplan. And I actually almost won except I had to use blade flurry a turn earlier than I would have liked. And I also used perhaps a little bit more resources on that blade flurry than I should have. But at one point I had 11 damage on the weapon with 3 charges. If I swung once a turn earlier at 10, got a second swing in at 11, and then blade fluried, that would have dropped my opponent down to less than 10 hp (filthy control warriors 40+ hp pools). And from there I could have taken him out with eviscerate and the rest of my deck.
I think of the card as a sort of end game plan that is difficult to interact with. And perhaps a little bit better than I thought it would be. Maybe worth trying to build a deck around it.

Another boom bot RNG casinostone outcome. I have UTH. He plays dr. boom. I have azure drake on board. I summon 5 hounds. Fireball his dr. boom. Go face with drake. And first boom bot hits drake. 4 minions on board + face. 1/5 chance + a 1/2 chance to then kill azure drake.
1/10 outcome.
People call tempo mage casino mage, and they aren't wrong, but dr. boom is consistently the biggest rng-swing based card and that is neutral and not even really in the hands of anyone. At least when you start the slots with tempo mage, you generally do so when the odds are in your favor. With dr. boom you just play it when it seems opportune and hope for the best with your boom bot rng.

I just opened a Deathwing from a spectator quest pack and kind of want to put it in some stupid decks just for the hell of it. Maybe I'll try a Warlock Discard deck with DW. It will probably be terrible, but it might be good for some laughs.

We really need more strong 7 mana cards to balance Dr 7. Cards like Malorne simply don't have enough impact. I'd love to see poison mechanics where monsters start out strong but get progressively weaker. 7 Mana 9/9 that becomes a 7/7 next turn, 5/5 after, etc.
