If that image is anything to go by, we should get some unbelievable shots by people who actively manipulate the characters and enemies for better composition. Maybe even indistinguishable from concept images.
Does Aloy look at points of interest when out of combat? Not sure how much I'll play with photo mode myself, in Uncharted 4 it took me ages just to get a single half-decent shot

To be fair, it's just some selective frames that cracked me up, especially since the second one reminds me of Val Kilmer. I actually like Aloy's design. The fact that she's not some crazy hot super model helps he stands out and really humanizes the character. One the biggest compliments I can give GG on their character design.

I don't get what's so funny about stating a fact but welcome to neogaf I suppose. (Smaller screen, higher pixel density etc.)
Does the 'Zero Dawn' part of the title mean anything? Not pretending I'm well informed about the game in the slightest, but every time I see the title it makes me think a team of marketing execs glued together some dramatic buzzwords without any thought to coherence - why not just stick with 'Horizon'? I'm just curious whether there's anything in-game that justifies the entire title or if it's as ludicrous as it appears at uninformed first glance.

OK this pic proves that this game at its best looks better than U4 and any other game I've seen, don't know how they got it running on OG PS4, it's black magic.
And Ni-Oh is not a good example for anything, let's be honest it's no more than PS3 visuals at full HD at most.

Yeah but I've played Horizon and it holds up on the big screen in the 4K mode, sure not native 4K but at my usual sitting distance it's nice and crisp.

Picked this up earlier today in NYC.
Just got done with the tutorial. My very early, quick impression? This is going to be one hell of a game.
I know next to nothing about this game. Been staying away from videos and whatnot so everything is a surprise to me.
Messed around with photo mode for a few minutes and I can see people posting some awesome pictures.
Sadly, I need to head out but later tonight I'll be putting in some hours.

So I have noticed that you can't use a normal arrow to blow up the red barrels, they require a fiery type I think.
