C probably. New Mario & Luigi, new Zelda, actual Metroid Prime 4 footage were the highlights - and all very unexpected for me.

Rest was meh.

D.
Third-party had some good stuff, but first-party just reminded me how much I dislike Nintendo's output these days.
Crazy that the one Western AAA game (Metroid Prime 4: Beyond) was the best thing in the show, and I was still kinda let down by it.

One of the best Directs in a very long time. New 2D Zelda and Prime 4 are some of the best announcements of the entire Switch lifetime.
Prime got announced donkeys ago and it wasn't a great showing imo.

But glad you enjoy the show. Bang average for me.

First party is mainly focusing on switch 2 games now id expect.

B.

Seeing Mario & Luigi was a pleasant surprise.
Metroid Prime isn't dead, and it looked quite nice, which isn't a surprise considering how good the remaster of Prime looked and ran on the Switch.
Also Dragon Quest! YEAH

Didn't care too much about the new Zelda game tho. The echo mechanic seemed kinda lame to me.

wtf is romancing saga and why is everyone here excited about it

Never played any of those Mario & Luigi games

Looking forward to playing this one

I gave it an A as I'm day one on the following:

Ace Attorney Investigations Collection
Dragon Quest III HD
Dragon Quest I-II HD
MARVEL vs CAPCOM Fighting Collection
The Legend of Zelda Echoes of Wisdom

Interested in:

Mario & Luigi Brothership
Metal Slug Attack Reloaded

Happy about:

Four Swords/Zero Mission

And I know other folks around here will be excited about Donkey Kong Country HD, Metroid 4, and Mario Party. That's a pretty crazy lineup considering we are in the final year of the system.

B for me, couple of duds for me like Stray or Hello Kitty or Fairy Tail or some of the Sports stuff shown. Zelda game, Hundred Line(Danganronpa creator game), DKC Returns on Switch, and the Miles Edgeworth game are really good moves. Same with the Marvel vs collection.

A+

In order of most excited

Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake
Dragon Quest I + II HD-2D Remake

Fantasian Neo Dimension

Mario & Luigi Brothership

Ace Attorney Investigations Collection

Zelda Echoes of Wisdom

Phantom Braves The Lost Hero

The Hundred Line Last Defense Academy
Romancing SaGa 2 Revenge of The Seven

Marvel Vs Capcom Collection
Pretty much the same games I am looking forward too from this direct, with MP4 included. Really solid list of new games to keep me on my switch for the rest of the year. Not sure on Hundred Line yet, I think I want to see some more of it before jumping in with it. For what's likely the last direct focused on solely the Switch and not the successor, a lot of good games to end the year with.

B for me, but I could see it being C or D tier if you aren't a Nintendo fan and depending on which genres you play. Mario & Luigi, 2D Zelda, Metroid Prime 4 are great announcements to have, even without considering we are in the last stage of the Switch's life cycle.

Too many mediocre games getting too much screen time. Kinda annoyed the most exciting games seems to be coming 2025.

But I was surprised we are still getting new games on Zelda, Mario& Luigi and Mario party. B for me.

B for me.

Donkey Kong Country Returns on a nice Oled display instead of the 3DS.

Metroid Prime 4 looked great.

Zelda looked phenomenal. Well overdue. Gameplay looked lit.

Perfect Dark and Four Swords on NSO.

𝚄𝙻𝚃𝚁𝙰 𝙷𝚈𝙿𝙴:
Metroid Prime 4
Zelda Echoes

Day 1:
Mario & Luigi Brothership
MvC Collection
Ace Attorney Collection
New NSO games (Metroid ZM, Turok, PD, 4S)

Interested in:
Super Mario Party Jamboree
DKC Returns HD
Dragon Quest I guess? (Never played one before)
Metal Slug Attack Reloaded
LEGO Horizon Adventures (but not on Switch lmao)

Smelliest Turd:
Funko Pop: The Game

Overall rating: A-

I'm probably not the target audience for most Nintendo stuff, but I wanted at least a Xenoblade X remaster which was not there so have a D from me.

I really did not know what to expect going into this Direct, but after all was shown I voted it as a B. Lots of stuff that look pretty good to me. I was a bit surprised that they showed stuff for 2025 (other than Prime 4).

A, for AFRAID ... to lost much my wallet to these games...

Metroid, romancing saga, finally zelda adventures in her own, and much more ... I hope my wife forgive me

I'll give it a B. It was mostly medium tier titles rather than the big guns, which is to be expected this close to a new system. But they showed some good stuff.

Solid C.

It wasn't a bad presentation at all. It has some games that didn't do it for me, but there are other who were pretty well.

Don't know what anyone would expect, it's still a Switch game and I'd say it's easily the best looking game on the platform.
It could have been from any of the Prime games, bar the better graphics. Nothing new, no new mechanics shown. I'm sure it will be a fantastic game but the trailer did nothing for me other than yup that's prime alright and thank god its still alive.

That's fine but that's how Nintendo show their games, first trailers are often underwhelming and then they show the new mechanics in further presentations. Obviously I hope no one thinks we've seen everything the game has to offer with this trailer.

It gets a B, if the Metroid Prime 4 trailer showed a hook (the trailer was weak tbh) and the Donkey Kong game was new (or other big new game) instead of a hd port it would have gotten an A.

It was close though, its been awhile since Ive seen an A direct, the standard is that Year we got Skyward Sword, 3ds Smash announcement, Kirby's Epic Yarn, and Donkey Kong Country Returns (there was more I cant remember off the top of my head too), the Year with Smash Wii U, Splatoon, Yoshi's Epic Yarn, Bayo 2, BOTW tease and a Starfox tease was probably an A as well.

Personally, a D

Nothing there for my tastes. I'm really not into Nintendo anymore.

But that's just me. If you're a Nintendo fan then surly it must have been at least a B for Metroid.

C for me. New Mario, new 2D Zelda and a new Metroid would be hard to beat 10 or 15 years ago, but it's losing the magic for me. Their content didn't evolve as their fans got older and the focus seem to be on very young or casual players now. Metroid Prime 4 trailer was just too lazy and an embarrassment, imo.
