These woke minded people, like the one creating these games, have an specific type of mindset and I, as the people annoyed by the what we called "woke" games, already can predict how the characters will behave, who will be the leaders, what desitions they will make, what they wont do, how the town's citizens will look (like the most diverse place ever)... just look at dragon age veilguard, everything is like "passed through a filter", sanitized, with limits, creativity is restricted and artists restrict themselves.

Jordan just isn’t very feminine. She isn’t overtly masculine either. I can tell she’s a woman without looking twice, but she’s sort of androgynous. She doesn’t lean too much in either direction and I believe this is deliberate. Judging by the OP, I’m correct. Game devs just love blurring the lines between men and women now.

Here is the major reason why the character sucks and everyone is overlooking this aspect which is fundamental, we get it, western feminism infused people want to push this stereotype of the "badass bitch" but it always fails misserably and what we get as a result is this annoying, tryhard, snarky, unbothered by anything, with quippy one-liners copied from the Disney Funny Dialogue Template™, self-absorbing, smartass, condecending, disrespectful, rude and with worse "toxic male" traits than your average macho-man from action movies of the 80s

It's not a sequel to a very popular and beloved game and we're not in 2020 anymore, where the average Joe gamer knew very little about woke ideology in games.

I'm also sure most people didn't see Abby's appearance as "woke." Remember, this is also a sequel to the first game, which featured two gay relationships in the main story. If anything, people were upset about Joel's death.
Games often receive a lot of hype online, but it often doesn't translate to massive sales because it doesn't attract the "average Joe" gamer.

Tall bushy eyebrows and being bald also makes her look more masculine.
They gave her a male body with small boobs on purpose. ND wanted to make her more androgynous than the actresss already looks.
What I mention obviously is averages and typical design, obviously there are people with many different body shapes and women can look very "masculine" with the proper training and hormone therapy.

Its going to be a great game on the PS5 and will shift tons of consoles
Not gonna lie, once they stop the extreme cutting diet, get some fat back, lose the hypervascularity, chicks like this can be VERY attractive.idk if she does but when girls take hormones they do look like men, but jordan doesn't look even close to this

It’s just sad we finally get a trailer for NDs new IP and they wanted it to revolve around what it turned into instead of wowing us with oh you know gameplay
Oh, they knew EXACTLY what they were doing. Looks to me that the gameplay is gonna be very God of Warish so no real reason to talk much about it (much like South of Midnight, if the combat is just a breather between story beats, focus on the story). I wonder if there is gonna be spaceship combat though, seems like there should be but maybe she really is tooling around in a space 911 with no weapons.

Yeah druckmann definitely wanted the attention and smoke, woulda loved to see more details about the actual game before the whole story got consumed by these politics.
I mean Last of Us part 1 is what really put druckmann in the spotlight, and besides graphics and punch lasers the amazing acting and script is what made that game huge IMO. It's a shame the whole team didn't stick around to keep druckmann from going off the deep end though.
Also veilguard/dustborn/etc are being reemed for their trash writing, but thats more of a recent push back I'll admit, most games do have bad writing.

We don't have much info on the main character or the reason for shaving her hair since the group photo was taken (on the wall where she has a FULL head of hair).
Could be story related, either way some folk dont care, prepared to get embarrassingly worked up over polygons. Honestly some of the most pathetic reasoning to cry I've seen in gaming. Second only to those that'll happily bash a game because it's PS exclusive until it's not. See Death Stranding.
Especially for a ND game which'll likely be a banger. I'm there DAY ONE!

Although I'm not really a fan of females with short hair full stop, the actual character design isn't a problem per se
Her colour is also not a problem, hell I grew up in the 90's when attractive Black Female artist like Toni Braxton & Monica had very short hair.
That didn't stop me owning their Albums or finding them attractive.
But if the character presents themselves in an unlikable way(which I've seen people say the character is okay and suddenly say they don't like her after she starts talking and seeing her mannerisms)
That's the problem, the type of character does exist and isn't likable and is more suited to a villain.
I have talked more to other people to justify why I don't like the character then actually thought about the actual trailer.
I'm not angry or upset, I saw it and wasn't interested, there was better things shown
But now I have to defend why I don't love it.
If there was something I could give a complement about, it would be the music.
Yet again I find that if some small changes to direction and how the character presents themselves( not visually) was done it would be a complete difference in a favourable way.
But the character gives off a Alyssa Mercante vibe and I don't want to play as that.

The bald look is hyper aggressive and I understand where they’re coming from but at this point it’s desperate, peach and excellent Nintendo character continues to go forward and isn’t bald, Chloe, and Elena from uncharted 2 aren’t bald and it’s not surprising coming from a developer who had Abby in the last of us 2. But it is what it is.
The part about the trailer I hate most is when she is drinking from the straw. I'd like to smack that straw out of her mouth, that expression on her face rubs me in all the wrong ways.
