Hey, it's entirely consensual. Maya knew what she was getting into.

Nah, shortly after where you are now it's honestly more Maya going through somewhat extreme situations by herself for her method acting instead of tsukikage sensei straight up abusing her. :p Christian Bale could only wish to go as far as maya does.

Also goddamn it now I'm reading glass mask again.

Well, 38 volumes has been scanlated so far, but it's up to 50 now and the scanlation is slooooooow.

Also I have no idea why such a popular series was never licensed in english.

Somehow I just cant get enough K! It may just be a prologue but its off to a good start and I wonder where it will end up in relation to the other events. It starts off at, as Kuroh says, a getaway house for men and women to engage in relations, and still features nekkid neko and what not but the interaction between Kuroh and Isana really was pleasing with the writers random hints and what not of something more or maybe just their kind hearted words and appreciation of each others qualities. In relation to the large plot its right after they escape via the helicopter in the Silver King incident. Will keep following

If you want to know the story, the 2005 anime adaptation is actually a pretty good retelling of it.

It finishes on the arc which the author ended before her hiatus for awhile, and can be treated as a more open ending, but most of the story beats are in there. It's just a shame they couldn't interpret the plays as well as the manga does.

But I'm lonely...

I really liked that series. Watched the anime in the early 90s when it aired here. Such a great series.

@ Glass Mask: hmm maybe I'll watch the anime, though nowadays I don't really watch anime anymore. I'm 99% manga-exclusive.

While I agree that he should take his time to recover, comparing Ass Class' popularity to OP is quite pushing it.

Oda's Health

The man really should take an extended break, and it's now or never. If One Piece went on Hiatus now, Naruto and Bleach (And Toriko, I guess) could keep people reading JUMP. Once Naruto ends , that window of opportunity is closed. Bleach isn't big enough to carry a magazine anymore and upstarts like Haikyu, Nisekoi and AssClass aren't settled enough to be headliners. Hell, AssClass hasn't even outlasted Magico yet.

Two weeks is a long time to us two Oda. But you know the Jump editors will shame him into doing more color pages, just like when he went on vacation. That's why I'm pumped for Mario, Kishi is working himself to the bone right now, a few months rest and a not as clean art style like when he first started. It will be great. Get well soon brah.

Is Mario really going to happen? I though that one-shot killed any chance of it ever getting serialised.

The illness he was hospitalised for isn't life threatening (at least the wikipedia article seemed to suggest so...) but his attitude in the post is really distressing. The idea that Oda would sit on an issue rather than risk it disturbing his work is unsettling.

Whatever happened to that futuristic city Pain was at on that one cover or back page or whatever? This weeks chapter is the first I read since the Sai arc. Knew it was time to jump out when he came on board.

Same thing that happened to all the cool stuff in the Naruto universe, Kishi forgot about it or didn't know what to do with it. I really wish he would've explored the different countries and cities more. With ninja as mercenaries you'd think it would be perfect to show some diversity, but instead it was just Konoha this, Konoha that.

Wish I could read new series when they are fresh. Takes a long time somehow untill they appear on the iPad app(s) and I hate reading on the PC with a passion. Just doesn't have that reading-feeling if you know what I mean.
