You get it with enough heavy weapon upgrades.

That was the one I was thinking of. Someone on another forum said they found it during Thane's mission, but per the ME wiki, you find the Viper on his recruitment mission, which I did in fact find. I guess the Widow is the equivalent of the Claymore shotgun, which is what I found on the Collector ship.Ruuppa said:The Widow anti-material rifle? I found that on infiltrating the Collector ship for the first time. And it does kick ass.
Huh. I guess it changes depending on what you have at the time. I had theresearched before going on the mission.Cain
AstroLad said:LTTP on this question I'm sure, but for those who got the Steam/PC Digital Deluxe edition, how are you supposed to get the non-game bonus content? The music specifically. I've got all the in-game stuff.
ShockingAlberto said:In ME2, it's Shepard's Space Adventure. Everyone had motivations, but they were basically just "This is bad, we should stop it!" They all had backstory and were mostly interesting characters, but I just never bought their involvement in the actual main story.
ME2 felt more like a set of vignettes connected by Shepard, which may have been the actual intention. I just liked how cohesive the first game felt.

Cool thanks. Guess I just have to locate that now, which should be easy but then again thisissteam.gif.Shinjitsu said:It's in the bonus folder in the mass effect 2 directory.

Yeah, I'm not really faulting the game for it or saying it makes no sense, just that it felt a little less epic for it and I preferred the former way.EatChildren said:I think that was kind of the point though. They were supposed to be, as the Illusive Man puts it, "The best of the best". But unlike the crew of the first game they dont have immediate reasons to side with you, hence their loyalty missions and helping them get over whatever is on their minds.
They're chosen because, much like you, they are mostly exceptionally talented. Many represent the apex of their species or powers.
Whether or not the execution was done well is debatable, but that was what the plot was trying to convey; the Collectors could only be stopped by the best of the best, not a group of people related to the plot. Convince these people to join, earn their loyalty, and then win.

"This is all Joker's fault. What a tool he was! I have to spend all day computing pi because he plugged in the overlord!"
All codes go in the Bioware social site, and the unlock the content via Cerberus Network for whichever version you own.Metalic Sand said:I finally got a inferno armor code from amazon and i dont know where to enter it. My major annoyance with the doors is when you open one, and get close, but don't go in immediately and it just closes.zombieshavebrains said:Anyone get annoyed at the doors in the game? Having to wait a split second for a door to open isn't so bad, its when i have to do it every single time i want to go through the door. Its almost as bad as metroid prime.

Manos: The Hans of Fate said:One thing I like is the better pacing of the game. I just can't long mission slogs through similar looking environments. I feel that the previous model encouraged recycling designs. I understand that people feel is the reduction in the character missions, but I can also how Grunt's Rite could have really been padded.
I'm also in love with the Renegade/Paragon Trigger options during cutscenes. The amount of things that carry over from the first game, even if mentioned only in an email are such boon. I really feel that it rewarded me for playing the last game and investing myself in my decisions.
This could be a spoiler, but it's devoid of any context, so its fine.
I could not stop laughing this morning when I got to that part. Hell, even as I re-read it now in class in my head I have to hold my laughter.
I think people also need to take a look at the great satire of commercialism and its excesses, it's funny and doesn't reek of MUST CRUSH CAPITALISM. The dueling endorsements and the aftereffects are quite funny too.

I think that is more of a natural reaction to the way the incidents of the first game are swept under the rug and the meeting of reality with ideal hopes. Considering how a lot of the people saying it are from Cerberus or got royally screwed over the Citadel, it makes senseCep said:Very true, but for the first 1/4 of the game, there is this extreme rebel 'Fuck Government' vibe and it was really fucking annoying. You can write that of as hyperbole if you like, but IMO the quality of the actors and the consistency throughout the massive amount of dialog put it above any game I've ever played.
Note: I always play FemShep.
