Hawkeye, Quarterback, Trickster, Monomania, Sixth Sense, Narc and Scanner are non-expansive skills.

Yeah I like the CQC when it works. But it seems like I miss 9 times out of 10. And they seem to reverse everything. I have just been trying to level up blades so I won't have to deal with that.

Are you spamming R1 or even triangle to regrip+choke? Blades3 + CQC1 is okay, but as someone who sucks at both I find it really really painful. You saw my score of that round

Do you mean leveling up skills or player level? If the latter you won't be leveling for a while, need a lot more kills/time played.

I think you tap R1 to choke them out. Just check out the briefing section on the availible CQC actions in MGS4, that should show you most possible combinations.

you'll go in spurts. I went from 0 to 2 in one short night. Went from 2-3 last night after a few good rounds of rescue and base (sorry, nozdeuce i think i headshotted you 2x right when you joined MM)

i hate how up and down it can be though. i just about threw my precious dual shock 3 against the way after getting headshot by an AK from across map.

FWIW: the neogaf players are by far the most tactical i've played against. I consistently see use of the whole range of items, weapons and parts of the map. who was using the gas bombs last night? :lol

On my way, and on that note, I launch us down a scary path of complaining about not being able to launch MGO from the XMB. Why can't I? It's all tied to my PS3 anyway. Angry robot is not pleased.

I really do miss it, especially having beaten MGS and primarily using the disc just for MGO kinda burns. Thanks again for the tag, most awesome

Neogaf and FoxUnit kinda had an impromptu scrim last night in the locked room, we noticed we had 6 of each so we scrambled to change teams and did glorious battle. Was really fun Neogaf won both rounds in a super close Base game at MM. Was really really intense, both rounds were really close. Great fun.

I dunno, but at the least if it really is tied to your console they could send current MGO users a PSN redeem code for a separate DL.

CQC question: when you choke someone your stamina bar turns green and slowly empties, if the person your choking resists by spamming the left stick, your green stamina bar empties faster. Sometimes when I choke someone both our bars are full, but he somehow ends up emptying mine while i choke him and I end up getting knocked out. Anyone know how/why this happens? Could it simply be he outranks my CQC skill?
