Evidently alot colleges block xbox live and the psn on their networks.
I'm too old to know that first hand
A lot of dorms don't let you connect a console to the schools Internet.
I think there's quite a few colleges that don't allow the Xbox to communicate to LIVE in the dorm rooms. Not sure how prevalent this is.
wow, I didn't even remember that. At this point, I'm starting to go from being depressed that I won't be able to play many of those amazing looking Xbox One games to being actively entertained by this mess. It never stops. One thing after another, like the beating of a war drum, relentlessly informing the world of Xbox One's nutcase policies.
I don't believe in third console curses, but I do believe the Xbox One is officially one of the most fucked gaming consoles of all time.
GhaleonEB said:Even that is a pretty bad solution. It means the Xbox One at the base can only play games that were released while the Xbox One was back in the US, so the games can be authenticated. New game comes out? Gotta fly that Xbox One back to the US, register the game, fly it back to base. Really thoughtful of them.
As a prior hearty Xbox 360 fan, can you make heads or tails about their strategy? I am dumbfounded to figure out where they're going with it at this point. i thought I maybe understood early on, but nothing about it makes any sense anymore. Nothing.
