To be honest, the game should probably BE ignored.

This is a shit franchise, and everyone that likes it should be ashamed of themselves.

smh I thought we were bros - At least I know icecream is a fan.

But yeah Kuroneko makes the show all worth it.

It's not a bad show, actually seems to be avoiding an incest end so far, despite the outcries of some of the fanbase who seems to want it. Heck, they actually had to pander to it a bit in the light novels by doing something of an undo on one of the relationships.

It's quite disturbing how many fans want it though.

They will get the Kuroneko end and like it!

What's funny is that the original 1,500 post OT for the show is still untouched (though dormant for over a year now), but the thread that was made to announce season 2 (which, as noted earlier, starts airing this Saturday and will be simulcast with English subtitles) got locked down almost immediately. Maybe being on Gaming side will offer this thread a different fate.

Considering that apparently according to this post in the banned thread that people watch this show waiting for the incest as way of sexual tension:

Why do they have to make the distinction that they are blood related in the description? Isnt that kind of redundant?
It gives the bro-sis incest subtext (which is what sells this series) that runs throughout this series that much more "oomph"
How about let's not, then.

Yeah, I'm not surprised the thread was locked.

The best part about anime is watching people who don't like anime lose their shit when they hear the word 'anime'.

That and motherfucking waifus.

I dunno, sometimes the waifu thing goes too far.

And I say that as someone who likes to throw around the term waifu.

If you took away people overreacting about things, most of the internet would vanish.

It'd be an amazing place.

For a day.

And then the boredom sets in.

On the bright side, hey, you can read Youtube comments then!

I don't get the "HappyenD" part of the title though. Why not just say "Happy Ending"? I mean it works from both normal sense and perverted sense of the word.

Missus watched the whole series. It has the most annoying and unlikable main character ever, and a really strange story arc that argues it's ok for a young girl to play those weird Japanese erotic PC games. The incest undertones are creepy too, but I guess they're the only reason this is popular.

Because "Happy EnDing" wouldn't make the HD acronym obvious enough, I guess.

Sure, lets ignore the part about a brother and sister building a relationship over the sisters love for "little sister" themed erotica.

Well they're building a relationship on embracing her quirks and not hide that facet of her life so much that she feels isolated. Her meeting Kuroneko and Saori are a result of the efforts to talk to people who share common interests set up by her brother.

I like decent anime, you know, Jojo's, Bebop, Champloo, Ghibli, etc.
I just hate what anime has become. I find it hard to find any other fan who doesn't engage in pathetic "waifu" wars, arguing whether pre-pubescent girl no. 129768657585 is cuter than pre-pubescent girl no. 571871202309, even though the only difference between them are their trope personalities and hair colour.

So I take it you've read what you've been spoonfed here and now think you understand the whole series? That's not what it is at all.

Kyousuke who is the MC always was jealous of how perfect his sister was and how much his family cared for her more than they cared for him. He finds out about her secret love of all things eroge and the fact she was a siscon and decides to help her out. The reason why they get closer isn't because of the eroge stuff, yes she plays them with him as it's an activity they start doing together and she forces it on him, but she has no interest in him. She likes the little sister character tropes, she's a siscon not a brocon.

Kyousuke also helps Kirino help her find friends who also have the same interests as her (anime otaku stuff) who are Kirino and Saori. They get closer because he starts seeing that his little sister is actually as helpless as he is and isn't this perfect human like she always made out to be. She has the same issues as he does and he wants to help her.

Lol, fuck off Japan.
I don't care if the show is about accepting one's self. The screen shots and the title of the series tell me all I need to know about who watches this filth.

Or "Two minor pieces of information, both of which are misleading are all I need to cement my preconceived opinion of people who like what I don't like! Yay ersatz moral superiority!"

Anime has always had moe. It's never changed. I wish I could find that image of a user on a BBS from 1994 complaining about moe.

Just watch the good stuff that you like or what resembles what you like and ignore the trash. 95% of everything in media is garbage anyway.

I agree, it always had it.
Your kidding yourself if you think it was to this degree though.

Yeah it certainly couldnt have anything to do with the fact that its just easier to be aware of the full breadth of anime these days due to increased gloablisation and net usage as opposed to back when the majority of anime western audiences were aware of was particularly targeted at them?

If only more anime these days had totally fine progressive stuff like this in it
