I just don't see how Irving and Love will be better defensively though. There's no one on this team they can hide on. Frye can come in to shoot threes but who can he guard? They can find ways to win but some things cannot be fixed overnight.
Shows how sad the Cavs are. The freaking Blazers would have given more problems for the Cavs than the Raptors.
It's more like how much the Cavs have coasted through the playoffs against the crap EC now once again coming back to reality.

Heat don't enough cap after having to give Wade Kobe money and not having Whiteside's bird rights. doesn't mean he'll come to the Lakers but unless Wade takes a big paycut again, chances of Whiteside staying there are very slim.

Yeah I don't think the cavs could get past OKC, Spurs, Warriors, or even a healthy Clippers team if they were in the West this year. Maybe a second round exit at best.

It works when Barnes plays shook but since max Barnes has arrived they can't have Kyrie guard him

It's why I don't take his "6 straight finals appearances" seriously. The EC has been the JV of the NBA for the past decade and the West is a total bloodbath.
The Spurs - Clippers first round last year felt like the Finals.

So GM lebron comes to cleveland and gets rid of Wiggins for Love, then he gets rid of Love and Irving because it doesnt work out.

That was a little surprising even to me. I figured Kyrie would hurt Cleveland defensively, but Barnes is by far the easiest assignment when playing GS and even there Kyrie was terrible.

This is different tough. The Spurs big 3 weren't eating up all of the cap giving them zero flexibility to improve. 2 out of the 3 of them also weren't shit defenders. This lineup will never beat the Warriors or any other team that can spread the floor out offensively in this manner.
