the fuck

Did LeBron get a hair transplant? I thought I saw that scar on the back of his head and his hair is looking fuller. I know it's not relevant but I had to double take.

So dude, are you jacked for the Wiggins/Townes Era? I'm still not sold on Super Jordan Clarkson (LaVine) for you guys but a core of those two could be tremendous in a few years if they gel under Thibs.
Very pumped, specifically for my boy Towns. Not often you get a center this incredible on both offense, defense, and personality...he's the key.

Lavine I have honestly been caught off guard and impressed by. Somehow he ended up not being a bad pick at all. Same with Shabazz.

Wiggins I think has all-star, not superstar, potential. We'll see with the new staff coming in if he can pull it to the next level.

OverallI have never been this optimistic about our future. This isn't a one of or two year window, this is real. The biggest positive outside of Towns is that our ownership cleaned house in the FO to give the new guys full autonomy.

Shit could be amazing.

You and I both know that we could dig through this thread, likely even your post history, and find a ton of irrational shit piling on Lebron for countless silly reasons. Shit is personal with you guys, and that's what makes these NBA threads so vile and unwelcoming. That's why the old community is dead and we see the same 7-8 guys going back and forth. It has nothing to do with winning like you claim, because someone will post a gif of Lebron flopping and it will ignite a 4-5 page run of people digging at Lebron instead of just accepting the shit for what it really is. I'm tired of coming into these threads looking for some basketball talk and just seeing a bunch of personal, whiny bullshit. Like I said, you guys are more about drama than basketball. I thought I could maybe make some valid points and hopefully nudge the discussion away from pages and pages of blind Lebron hate into something a little more productive and worthwhile. I'll guarantee you I'm not the only one who thinks this way, but nobody else is willing to post because they know it's pointless.

You guys wonder where all the Cavs fans are? That's why. They know it's better to just not say anything because of the hivemind Lebron hate engine that powers this thread. This community isn't welcoming to anyone that doesn't fit that narrative. I gave you guys PAGES of valid points and discussion topics, but look at what it has degraded into? You pick and choose what you respond to, based on your own narrative, and then the people that have bought into that same narrative just fuel it until you resort to shit posts like "lol" and "I'm right because the 8 people in this thread agree with me" type posts, which you guys can't even see is the cause of you driving everyone else away. The Cavs fans make a brief return after wins because they think "there is no way that they can twist this" and bring some valid discussion to the thread, but you all still manage to contort it. There is no balance to this community because you guys are unreasonable in your discussions and posts. It's all one sided garbage.

You're completely unwilling to accept that not everyone likes a professional athlete. Whether it's for style reasons, team fanboyism reasons, attitude reasons, or legacy reasons, people have that right. It's entertainment and competition.

Lebron is one of the greatest players to ever play the game. That will always bring about an increased level of scrutiny. He's also the guy behind

Like, no, I would not have tried to force my team to overpay a center that just so happens to belong to my good friends sports agency that I am a part of. No, I would not undermine my coach in a constant flow of public, passive aggressive gestures to get him fired and then make ridiculous statements like "I am actually very low on the totem poll in this organization." No, I would not take to twitter with some of the cryptic, easily misconstrued crap he has and hit send.

that stuff posted above (which doesn't go away just because his PR doesn't acknowledge it), the collusion that led to the Decision, the utterly tone deaf Decision tv debacle, the attempt to delete the evidence of him getting dunked on in a pickup game erased, the subtle suggestion that the Cavs trade Irving for CP3, the swipe at Curry's MVP award this year...

And that's not even looking at the stuff that people could have gripes with on the court that could challenge his claim to be the greatest.

The fact is most of Lebron's teams are built around his strengths, play style, and let's face it, personal whims. He wanted Love, and his presence in the lineup demands that Love accept a Chris Bosh-like role as a spot up shooter, which he's had a hard time adjusting to. So he gets even more of the blame when they don't win because he insists on having input on personnel.

I presented you logic problems that you conveniently ignored. You still haven't answered ANYTHING I've asked.

I wonder why? Maybe the discussions had degraded into something that was not tolerated by NeoGAF? Hmmm

The Heat and Cavs fans left too. Seriously, you don't know what you're talking about. And it's a serious thread derail to start talking about posters and communities when this thread is supposed to be about basketball.

Shout to this guy telling like it is.

Lebron hate is so 2012 though

As someone who's a fanbase of literally the worst team to ever exist, the NBA forum is fine outside of this thread tbh.

The only people who are the problem are those who don't trust the process

These Lil Wayne poring champagne on his phone commercials will never not be funny to me

Wait Lue's suggestion to the Cavs was to play fast, play quick. Basically play right into what was getting you killed last game?? I.E. Transition breakdowns.

I plan on watching a LOT of Wolves games next season. May even get out to live game as I have family that lives in St. Cloud now. Exciting time for you guys.

Good lord I was watching the stream and it was 4-0 Clevelend then the feed came back on Directv and it was 6-4. Jesus that delay on streams.
