Just to put some perspective...
MS won't run Halo Infinite on Anaconda but instead high-end PCs.
That means bullshot demo coming with i7 + GTX 2080ti.
Source?
For Halo Infinite, this will be the first real showing of the next generation game. Microsoft will be running the demos from a PC with an Xbox controller as they don’t want the first impression of the new game to be running on the now dated Xbox One hardware.
Color me surprised:Just to put some perspective...

What would you expect them to do when the Console doesn't exist in it's final form and neither does the devkit? Would you rather them not show anything?Just to put some perspective...

Wait? Devkits are out, no? Sony is demonstrating the devkit already. What would you expect them to do when the Console doesn't exist in it's final form and neither does the devkit? Would you rather them not show anything?
I’m sure MS will talk about Nextxbox... not PC.How can it be a bullshot demo if the game will release on PC?

That didn’t change the bullshot. It will still release on PC’s though...
Don’t know how it can be a bullshot if it’s being played on a platform in which it releases.
CPUs on pc run at higher frequencies and can be much beefier. Pc overhead is not that big that consoles get pseudo-100% advantage.I just wonder what will happen if games will be made with so fast CPU in mind from the start. In order to run PS5 30fps game on PC in 60fps you would have to need at least 2x faster CPU than Ryzen 2
That's why all next-gen games should offer a 60 fps option. It will also help PSVR2 adoption.I just wonder what will happen if games will be made with so fast CPU in mind from the start. In order to run PS5 30fps game on PC in 60fps you would have to need at least 2x faster CPU than Ryzen 2

PC overhead will always be a thing with DX11, there's no way around it.Pc overhead is not that big that consoles get pseudo-100% advantage.
When I see this on PS4, I can't even imagine what the PS5 will look like at the end of its life.
That didn’t change the bullshot.
Games demoed in PC high specs to show how it will look on consoles are bullshots.
Others devs did the same and they were called bullshots... there are even cases where the game demoed has to be scaled drown because the console was a limitation factor like Watch Dogs or The Division,
Holy shit just like forza 5
Maybe, but if the devkit was made available recenlty, it's unlikely that most studios have converted over to it completely. They're most likely working on similar spec'd PCs at this point. We aren't even aware if NAVI or ZEN2 is even readily available to install into a desktop let alone a devkit. Also, did Sony confirm that they have devkits or did Pastebin?Wait? Devkits are out, no? A devkit can still be a PC at this point. That's all I'm saying.Sony confirmed they were running Spider-Man on PS5 devkits at event.
That’s what they usually are lol.A devkit can still be a PC at this point.
No. PS5 devkit.A devkit can still be a PC at this point.
Do you have connections or something? Have you seen what the fuckin' thing looks like? No. PS5 devkit. A devkit can still be a PC at this point.
C'mon is in the Wired article... did you not read? Why I need connections? lolDo you have connections or something? Have you seen what the fuckin' thing looks like?
i went back and re-read what you put. i can see the misunderstanding. you put final in front of console and didnt with the devkit but now i get what you meanDid anyone miss the fact that I said " doesn't exist in it's final form"? I'm not saying devkits don't exist, but the current devkit probably doesn't look like a Scarlet Xbox like the Xbox One devkit looks like an Xbox One. It probably looks like a PC and it probably is one for the most part. Same could be said for Playstation 5.
My grammar could use a little work, honestly.i went back and re-read what you put. i can see the misunderstanding. you put final in front of console and didnt with the devkit but now i get what you mean
CuteXbox 4U

I'm more of an Xbox Deadlift myself. The names are:

DiscriminatedHow would we feel about the nexbox box being white?
''When it comes to pure art budget, CPU power isn’t a huge bottleneck we think about a lot. There are, of course, some things that affect art which are on the CPU, but by and large the GPU does all of the heavy lifting. From what we’ve seen so far, the clock speed of a Navi-equivalent GPU won’t be a massive amount faster than existing console hardware, but even a difference of, say, 10% to 15% in GPU compute power could mean a lot of smaller improvements across the board that lead to better-looking games. It would bring the console much closer to the heftier PCs we actually use to develop on, or the high-end gaming PCs that are reserved for gamers who invest thousands of dollars in their hobby. We’ll be able to draw more geometry on the screen, have more complex materials, more VFX and particles on the screens – all kinds of things. On a similar note, having more VRAM would be great for artists, as well. All of the textures we create for games are authored at very high resolutions, but they’re often streamed in at lower resolutions in-game based on the available memory of the console.''
