By August we are going to see a bigger number for obvious reasons, but it looks like someone pulled the trigger by error early… And they round the numbers always. Sill i think we are going to receive an official PR statement in the upcoming days.

The Q ended June 30th I think, so in August they'll be showing whatever it was at the end of last month.

That's what i'm saying. By end of life the Switch 2 will play ~20 years of Nintendo games. That's amazing, specially seeing how well it runs Switch 1 games.

if Sony was able to produce more units, they would have stomped on the Switch 2 sale numbers easily.

Switch 2 is available to buy almost everywhere in the world less than 1 month since release.

Again, PS5 was supply constrained for almost a year.

Not the same for switch 2 that you can go to any store and buy one. Even the Xbox series X was harder to find than switch 2.

That is not to say the switch 2 sales might stomp on both ps5 and Xbox combined . Just saying early sales means nothing. PS5 if I am not mistaken is 80 million now ?( correct me if I am wrong ) so it's on track to be one of the best selling systems.

Whatever Nintendo can keep the momentum is up to them and their flow of games.
