Look, if you want to spend the match learning how the mechanics and gimmicks of a character work, fine. But if you're just running past the objective to do a big fat nothing and get yourself killed, well, you've earned the scorn.

So decided to check it out, and from the loot boxes up to lv 21 and $30 worth on the shop, I had gotten 9 legendaries, plus a legendary currency (500g). 4 of the skins (plus the legendary currency) are from the leveling, 4 are from the shop, and the last I paid gold with.

Mercy's ult pops so fast that I find myself using it for just one or two revives unless the situation is really starting to look grim. It's probably a bad tactic but I feel like I'm wasting it if I just sit on it for most of the match

It charges so fast that my rule of thumb usually is if you can rez two people, it's probably worth it.

The only thing that keeps me from leaving matches as soon as DEFEAT rolls across my screen these days is the knowledge that I'll be able to vote down the match so I can try to convince the game to never match me with anyone on my shitty team ever again.

If you were trying to actually learn those characters, you probably wouldn't jump right into doing whatever you see Seagull doing. He's a dude with a foundation that he's built on over time. So yeah, I'm going to ridicule people for refusing to focus on the fundamentals of characters over trying flashy shit that accomplishes nothing.

Then I agree with you. I assumed these were people who could sometimes hit stuff and were just trying new things. Obviously if your arrow accuracy is 5% anyway, going for those trick plays is completely pointless and silly. I just assumed this was not the case because it was closed beta and we're talking about people who are deep enough into the game that they tune into streams and pick things they want to try from other players. Most Hanzo players seem to have never seen the character before joining my game, so at this point I'd be positively surprised if they knew how to climb walls and shoot arrows at the same time.

To continue the Reaper pity party, I had a game earlier on Route 66 where I literally saved the match. The cart was at the edge of being capped, and we go into overtime. I dance around the cart in ghost form, getting an ult off for a quintuple kill to clear them off the cart and then shotgunning down their WInston that tried to jump in. Even managed to get PotG for it.

I only got a single vote.

Wait wait... When D.va revives, is her ultimate maxed and ready? If so, then I don't feel so bad... unless I revive her alone among the other team... heh (Though I suppose that might be the perfect opportunity to get a titan fall kill? )

Damn. Just had an escort mission where every checkpoint came down to the last couple of seconds. Managed to use junkrat's stupid wheel to get 4 or 5 kills to secure the first checkpoint. Felt pretty sweet and cheap.

XBL used to have this for all games. You could go to a person's profile and there was an option to "avoid this player" and that player wouldn't be matched with you but people abused it and I think it no longer does anything now.

I always seem to have it full when I get revived. Even if it's not automatically full, unless the D.va player is terrible, two lives should be more than enough for her to get Meka back.
