Sure this was just unlocky, because you did a good thing blocking Soldier 76's ult, but they dont see that. They only see your wall blocking their own ult. So did I the other day.

But I guess it's just annoying because it's people like you who do it accidently with a good thought behind it or trolls do it with the sole purpose of trolling

This is the weirdest disconnect for me, because people seem to hate mei and sym due to trolling but I don't think I've encountered any of that?

Neogaf was the first place I learnt that people actually hated them.

Well even with that Zarya ult Soldier would have killed many of your teammates...so you did a good thing.

If the wall went up exactly when Zarya fired her ult then it's something that you can't really do much about since you both decided to do something at that very moment, one didn't have priority over the other. The only way to avoid this happening is if a player gives a heads up before using their ult.

Also you can destroy your ice wall immediately by pressing E/L1/LB again which would allow your teammates ult to take full effect.

They're not all good guys. [see: reaper, widowmaker, junkrat, roadhog, [zarya?]

Each map has a relevant in story justification for why one team is attacking/defending that seems to mostly revolve around overwatch trying to protect the fragile peace between humanity and the omnics and talon/blackwatch/aussies/[russia?] being more vengeful.

just had a idiot split second moment where I thought "why do people only hate the red and not the blue team" then half a second later remembered the enemy tem is always the red team :p

Aw, almost had 5 gold medals as Zenyatta on an escort mission. Ended up with 4 and silver in damage.
I'm still not very comfortable playing with him but so far it's such a fun character.
And I love how calm he is when he says "I'm on fire" :D

There is none. If you're following the story of the cinematics and the intros, then the story of the actual gameplay doesn't add up no matter how you're looking at it. Bad guys and good guys in the same team, and heroes just fighting heroes, with no civilians or other threats around. Clearly Winston is wrong: Overwatch isn't needed, seeing how all it does is fighting itself.

But it's all good fun :)

It's all a ploy by the Administrator UN to keep all the dangerous elements of society busy, by fighting themselves (and only themselves).

I've been shying away from McCree but wanted to get in some time before nerfs. Did it tonight and finally hit a good groove. Pharah and Roadhog with alternate Reaper is my solid go to I think. Want to learn Zarya.

Also fuck solo q. ggs tonight if we played.

Only just discoverd Master Overwatch,

Apperently I play my best game as D.Va. I only played 14 games with her tho so it might be deceiving. But I have the most objective kills, objective time and best K/D with her. Time to play her more lol

Hit kinetic to bounce him, then fly straight up and drop missiles.
If he ducks in somewhere take off and come back later, you do not always have to finish them off and he wants you to chase him plus he probably just healed.
In this game one of the hardest things to do is sometimes let the opponent live and know when to peel off.
As long as they are obsessed with you, they are not on the objective whether you kill them or not.

Has there been any news on post-launch support? Last I heard was competitive mode being added in late June along with the game's first major patch. Is that still all we know?

I watch the game's intro every time I start it up and seeing "Sombre" in like every one of those flashback shots keeps on getting me hyped. I feel like she was supposed to be in at launch since she is the only character that keeps on showing up with the original Overwatch team but isn't in the game. And the game is light on support characters.

I'm surprised how much people seem to stick with the same character. I enjoy playing most of the characters and usually pick what the team needs.

My playtime is very evenly spread between a lot of characters. I guess im a jack of all trades master on none :p

Total play time - 34 hours

Reinhardt - 6 hours

D.va - 6 hours

Mei - 4 hours

Soldier: 76 - 4 hours

Symmetra - 3 hours

Lúcio - 3 hours

You can't knockback Bastion in turret form with Pharah shot or ability. You can Hook to cancel the form and also Charge though.

3 direct rockets makes him not so bad, but good reactive Bastions will still always kill you 1v1 if you are in sky, but you always win in a corner poke game. Shes one of the better counters. I flanked and killed 2 Bastions and a Rein on Gibraltar, but we still lost anyway.

I would buy $10 in lootboxes for them to take Anubis out of the game. Does anyone want to start a crowdfund for this campaign, because this is top ten worst maps in all of multiplayer gaming. Christ almighty. It's not even fun on defense.

Those grenades explode far too fast and due to internet latency and slower server update rate (20 tick), ehich is why it's extremely difficult to survive after killing a Junkrat up close even when you know it's coming.

So many times I'll find myself well outside the range but die because according to the server I was still in range. I think the near instant explosion is what makes it annoying for me, something like that doesn't play well with latency and low tick rate.

Which heroes do you use to get too close to Junkrat to kill him now? I died to Junkrat's death on Tracer and Genji (a good number until I made a mental note of it every time I fought one) only when I walked through his corpse. Everytime I remembered, I managed to make it out or get hit partially and I get lag issues.

I understand the 20hrz tick servers and the lag compensation that's in the game right now, but which heroes do you use to be right on his corpse when he dies?

derp there goes my one helpful post of the day this late.

For S76 just play peek games and don't die lol. If you cant kill him just move him out of your LoS with kinetic. They also usually get scared if you manage to land a direct on them first, win most 1v1s if I get first shot.

Genji...I am right up his nose a lot of time.
I don't die always but a lot of time I find myself being defeated purely due to tick rate because even if I know it's going to happen and keep it in mind and as such try to move away the server doesn't updates my position until it's too late.

Awww, I like Anubis. The last point is a lot of fun to take/defend with a coordinated team.
