Yep. So many people just don't switch and are like "but he/she is my main". Well if you only got one main get your ass back to quick play and learn some more heroes..

It's hilarious how one sided games still are in ranked. It's basically always like this:

A team that "trihards".

vs

A team with Hanzo, Widow, Tor, Bastion or Mei.

And it's always a slaughter.

I still don't get how the system can find it fair to place 5 or 6 randoms against a team that has like 2 or 3 premade groups on it. Seems like whenever I'm with a group of friends, we almost always get stacked with the other premades.

Now that I'm playing solo, I'm lucky to get a 2 man premade going against a 4 man.

Yes!!! I grinded out my promotional matches or whatever they call these. Won 2/10!!!

OMG! Matches are way too long for me (married with kids, etc) but I can definitely see the appeal I grew to like it at the very end.

Took a lot of matches but I finally figured out my strengths for competitive play. I play best with Reaper and junkrat. I think I can make Reinhart work well too ofc.

Good I got a little exposure before season ended. They'll no doubt do a soft reset and maybe if time permits I'll mess with it again. I dunno

I'm kinda getting the hang of Tracer. I just have to improve my aim and remember to zip to the objective every now and then when defending or escorting the payload.

My GPU started to freak out at one point and everything was falling apart.

There were walls that weren't there so I was able to see through them as if I had wall hacks. At one point the models were exploding. Was pretty cool before it started to hurt my eyes.

Get a guy who JUST HAS TO get his shit in with Hanzo on Route 66, waits until the last 10 seconds to switch to Zenyatta. We don't even make it to the 1st point.

I just wanted to reach 65 before season 2.

I got teamed up against a 5 man while on a team full of randoms with no premades. That was a fun match.

I'm like a minor yet irreplaceable deity when I play Hanzo in Quick Play. The combination of my incredible ability to arc a long, hard shaft deep inside someone and the awful matchmaking putting me against people who have about as much of a clue as my grangran playing I-Spy for the Nintendo DS without her glasses on is truly a work of art.

Pretty awesome to finally have a winstreak and regain what I lost and even a bit more....only for some salty kid to rage quit because we didn't score the first goal in a minute causing a quitting chain reaction and me losing a whole level

Then win the next game with 3 golds as Zenyatta and only gain 5% rank. This game makes me hate myself

I have a mate who is at rank 80... Guess that puts him as one of the best players in our country (Aus). Looking forward to the skill rank changes in S2 as it's such a yo-yo atm... hoping to hit 55+ before S1 is over.

Reaper should take you no time. He's, to me, the easiest character in the game to be effective with. There's a skill gap between good and great Reapers, but to be a BAD one, you have to be shit, actual shit, like dog ate the trash and you were late coming home because of that thing and then you had to stop for beer but the line was ridiculous because the lady couldn't figure out the chip reader but in the end the chip reader wasn't even turned on so she just swiped it kind of shit.

Hopefully the Discord nerf will help make Winston more viable. He has the most fun set in the game. I like to play him with a solid Pharah as back up. Those two scatter groups and pick up each other's scraps.

I swear it's so damn difficult to make my friend understand that to be an even reasonably effective Hanzo you need to be very good with him, which my friend isn't. He insists on picking Hanzo and when he gets the triple kill with his ult he's like "WHAT DID I TELL YOU GUYS" zzzzz

Is this distinct from the one yesterday?

Edit: Doesn't look like it. I think it's just stuff related to the end of Season 1. If there were a new map coming, they would do a news/marketing push around it.

I'm not sure. I just launched Battle Net and got a 250meg pre-patch download.

But this is how it always works with Overwatch. They add stuff on Tuesdays, and they put out a press release when it's out. That's when the marketing starts.

Ana was released this way.
The Summer Games were released this way.

We know there's a Bastion short coming this Thursday and it is in a forest area which doesn't reflect any existing map, so there's already marketing. :p

Having a good week this week, I love this game! D. Va and Reaper are my mains at this point, with Tracer, Zarya, Mei, and Roadhog rounding out what would easily be my top 6.

I cant help but notice that this weeks good fortune seems to be going hand in hand with the fewest number of Widows, Hanzos, Anas and Genjis Ive seen in awhile. Nothing against those characters if the player is good, but on PS4, if you choose one of those character... I know there is a 97.8% chance you are hot, steamy garbage at playing that character, and since youre standing in the back, effectively makes our team be a man down.

Want to get better with a healer. Ive played with Lucio a bit, but Im inconsistant. May try to add Mercy to the fold, make it my 7, and just focus on those folks.

To any D.va player out there, always remember to initiate with boost+melee. Does a lot of burst you can follow straight into normal fire.

Also always try to look for pits and gaps you can boost enemies into.
