He has other brothers and sisters who are mostly cool with him. He's particularly close with his half sister Auma.
One of the other brothers lives in abject poverty and was interviewed and refused to say a bad word about Barack.
He's putting his credibility on the line (it's not like Clinton's hurting and we need more oppo anyway), and three weeks is more than enough time for two massive oppo bombs.
There's really no need for more "oppo". The women accusing Trump of sexual harassment aren't going away and there's very likely going to be more.
What I do think is going to happen, is that the Hillary campaign will find another target for Trump to lash against. Every time, it's been a combination of immigrant, minority or woman.
I'm guessing she might mention his horrible comments about Native Americans looking "too white" to be real "indians" and therefore didn't deserve tax breaks for their casinos.

That's washing over the truth tbh. She married a guy who was friendly with much of the media alongside his TV show and powerful left leaning celebrities and officials. The media didn't hate them and he wasn't spewing racism on a political platform and asking her to give speeches to back it up alongside her child. He wasn't insulting all of the core values of their circle and tweeting shit, let alone at 3am. No, he wasn't a darling, but he was a personality instead of a scandalous symbol of graceless disrespect.
That may be the plan, but his debating skills descend into word-salad so quickly and deeply, I don't know if he'll be able to press her on anything that isn't emails or Benghazi.
Regarding Melania, I can see her filing for divorce not long after the election.
The apprentice were able to snippet out Trump's nastier aspects of his personality. Otherwise, he was always an awful human being as Frontline explains how he became the mysgonistic bully he is today.

I don't think people are arguing that he wasn't always a dick on his own time, but that wasn't the focus of his public image while he was hosting his celebrity fueled charity show. And I'd imagine that change in public perception has had a rough impact on his wife.

I hope you're right, but the debate is the perfect place to tell 50 million people who haven't heard about it, and bash your opponent for alleged corruption at the same time.
You know it's bullshit, but will voters come to the same conclusion? Especially since he's made such an consistent effort to associate the word "Crooked" with "Hillary", and how so many voters (perhaps unfairly) still think Clinton is dishonest and untrustworthy.
I realize it's probably a Hail Mary desperation move, but I just want Hillary to be able to smack it down when he brings it up.

She doesn't seem like a vile person like her husband and seems like she's just stuck in a mess of a support system as her family. Idk like he's probably stressful and embarrassing and just thinking about her day to day life lately as a mom married to Trump sounds like it has to have massive downsides that probably aren't easy to just drop everything and divorce out of. Like I bet her and Hillary had some cute greetings here and there before these campaigns happened. I bet Melania would get nice hugs from Michelle Obama if the Trump campaign weren't a screaming baby with feces leaking down its back from its diaper

And yes, +9 or +10 is absolutely enough to take back the house...Wang was saying +7 could have done it a few months ago. but these polls aren't taking into account the complete absence of any GOTV effort or ground game from the Trump campaign.
Most assumptions have demographic turnout equal to or less than 2012 levels, when everything we've seen from early voting and registration numbers says this is going to be EXTREMELY lopsided in favor of democrats.
These +9 and +10 numbers are absolutely lowball numbers and you're going to see a lot of "safe" seats and "close" races turn into wipeouts for the GOP.
In the generic house ballot it should be, but that has been lagging behind so we'd probably need something closer to 12 for Hillary.

Generic house ballot doesn't matter. Actual house race results for 2008 and 2012 had a near 90% correlation between presidential vote and house vote...polarization means ticket splitting is dead.
If turnout hits +9 or +10 it's simply too much for seats that are R+6 or below. those seats are gone.
