I think it's all about Colin and Montgomery counties. Those are the two big suburban counties in Texas. That is where CLinton would pick off college educated whites.

I hate to buy into cliches, but if the "unbelievable stories" about a billionaire New York City real estate mogul who runs casinos and beauty pageants is that he had coke-fueled orgies with underage models, color me completely unsurprised. Which is to say that I already think Trump is one of the single worst human beings on Earth. This just feels like a "well no shit of course he did" sort of revelation. Not unlike the "grab them by the pussy" tape, to be honest. He's a truly evil man.

My thinking now is that we're definitely going to win, and the thrilling part is by just how much we'll win in terms of things like down ticket wins and red states flipping blue. I'm expecting to stay up, get good and sloshed and laugh my ass off at the social media implosion.

I just wish Hillary had something as awesome as "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" to groove out to like 2008.

Since my last post my mom has appendicitis with surgery tomorrow. Gonna be at the hospital tomorrow so you guys will have to keep me company.

We know the Senate will be ours.. but we don't know the exact seats or margins.
We know we'll make gains in the House, but again, we have no idea as to the extent.

The ceilings on all of these races are so fuzzy. These early voting numbers are starting to look impressive, even in areas that are surprising.

2012 felt like it could've been predicted in each category within a normal range. But 2016? We don't know. And I'm turgid with excitement.

I'm really hoping for a blowout. It's the biggest reason I hope the 538 model is accurate. While it might give trump the highest chance of winning, it also gives Clinton the highest chance of a landslide at 21.4%.

Leon county isn't pure blue though (especially once you get to the extreme north areas near Bradfordville, etc) and there's plenty of rural folk willing to come see him. Trump needs to run up the score in North Florida bigly and getting on air in the Tallahassee market has to be part of it.

That being said, that venue is perfect for Trump-that museum is full of tacky stuff and way overpriced. I drove by that place to Lincoln (and later, FSU) for years in the 90s at the original location and never wondered why anyone would stop in. Way more interesting things to see in Tallahassee.

I mean if you just want to see cars go out and watch a zaxby's drive through at 2am on a saturday night :jnc

Any stats for Bexar county by chance? Really interested in those. Talked to other family member's and they said line were long.

Here are the top 5 things I'll be following on election night in order of importance to me:

1) President
2) Senate especially Kander versus Blunt
3) Measure M in Los Angeles
4) Issa losing and the House in general
5) Marijuana measure in CA

My eyes will be set on North Carolina all night. Want to see them go blue. Ross could tip the Senate, and McCrory needs the boot.

The "chaser" would need to be pretty damning for a story like that. Something on the level of the earlier tape with Trump's own words.

I want to keep my expectations in check, because I have trouble imagining a scenario where Trump would admit to something like that on tape/mic. It's one thing to brag about grabbing/molesting women freely, it's quite another to talk about parties where the girls are drugged up and underage.

Robert Durst shows us it's not impossible, but I have my doubts. I guess we'll see what happens.

Hard to say, probably not. But it would be necessary for Clinton to be competitive. Romney won Collin county by 30+ points. Clinton would need to make a dent in that to have a chance. I think these early numbers confirm that it's worth our time to keep an eye on Texas.

Those early voting numbers from Travis, Harris, Dallas, Tarrant and Collin counties in Texas are crazy. Great to see Hillary's still expanding her lead in Nevada and very great numbers from Florida today too. It's looking really good.

Fuck the NC GOP for restricting early voting. I believe they'll show up to the polls - it'll just be more difficult/inconvenient compared to other states.

Wow my presidential vote could somewhat matter? It's very possible that Dem takes most of the full state elections. New Democrat governor and 2 democrat senators in Missouri and a vote for Clinton too? Sheesh

I am PISSED at the NC GOP. Voting in general should be the easiest process ever. FUCK them for restricting access. Although I hear they will be opening more polling places soon? So that's good and we know Michelle and Hillary will be there on Thursday.

Also my thoughts on the "oppo" or the daily beast story. I would like to think Rick Wilson knows something. I mean his credibility is on the line here. That said lets say something exists. If it's not a tape or Trump on mic it's hard to say how big this will be. But you'd have to assume there are receipts somewhere.

I mean I think we've seen that besides him being on tape it will just be added on the pile and I don't think the media even touches this without some decent credibility

It could be worse like Missouri where you need a valid reason to absentee vote. You can vote early in person using the valid reason argument at city hall in St. Louis. That's it for my city. GOP runs the state sadly so doubt it'll change unless it gets on a ballot as a constitutional amendment
