In trying to look at some kind of positivity in this disaster, I find myself in legit tears looking at some of the posts of solidarity on Twitter, like this:

Dear Muslims, Immigrants, Women, Disabled, and All People of Color,
I love you - boldly and proudly. We will endure. We will not break.
Like, fuck me, that's powerful stuff. These next 4 years are going to be some of the craziest (and worst) years in US history. But don't give up. I'm not good at this shit but seriously some of you need to come back from the ledge. There are literally
millions of Americans out there that are just as devastated as you are.
Not trying to sound like some "everything will be okay" kinda guy because holy fucking shit it turns out that yeah, racism won. But it's not like people aren't going to keep fighting, even in the face of whatever the GOP decides to do next. I'm forreal re-examining my life right now. No more complacency for me.
PS (since I keep refreshing the page before I post this) fuck moving to the right. I considered myself more moderate when I went for Clinton over Sanders but if this is the result we get then fuck that. And I'm not blaming Clinton for this either. Socialism all the way, baby.
