Hourly variance is so small it wouldn't give you useable information. But twice daily yeah. Tomorrow they will be getting real time updates as volunteers confirm individual voters

What other freebies are being offered tomorrow with an "I voted" sticker? Social media told me that I can get a free donut at Krispie Kreme. I expect a taco truck to be on my corner as well. What else can I expect? America wants to know (ok...maybe I just want to know)

Presidential Campaigns don't hire polling firms. They get their own pollsters.

The firms are probably doing polls for PACs, Senate, House, Organizations, etc.

Has polling always been a thing or were there times when candidates made their cases, traveled the country meeting people, and just hoped for the best?

Here is what is going to happen when Trump loses.

1. Say it was all rigged anyway.
2. Say he's rich he does not need to do this never wanted it anyway.
3. Leave the country to go on vacation before he goes on trial for Trump U.

That't it. It will be very short. Hes not going to be all over the place he's already embarrassed and jealous at this point. I could tell when he was talking about Jay-Z and Beyonce.

what is PoliGAF's Election Day game plan?

Besides the normal network coverage, I guess votecastr.us seems like it's getting a lot of hype? So they've predicted past elections w/ their methodology accurately but this is the first time they'll share the data publicly during an election?

This is a trick question. We don't have to check anything because we're in the clinton's pocket which means we can accomplish this task in O(1) time.

At least here, there's always people electioneering and handing out stuff where you can get post-it notes, pens, candy, etc.

Fortune has a list of freebies here from businesses.

He has a captive base that will pay attention to him and affirm any and all crazy shit he wants to spew. He's already proven his proficiency at ignoring reality, he can carve out his own little domain inside the echo chamber and be fine.

I'm off work at 3. I don't have cable, so I'll be watching the CNN Roku app and refreshing PoliGAF until it crashes. Oh... and either way the day shakes out, I'll be drunk by the time the election is called. I'll probably have to make us tacos. Tacos, beer and GOP salt sound like a pretty good dinner.

Not sure how sophisticated polling was in '60, but Richard Nixon made the bizarre choice to visit *all* 50 states that year.

From Wikipedia:

At the Republican Convention, Nixon had pledged to campaign in all 50 states. This pledge backfired when, in August, Nixon injured his knee on a car door while campaigning in North Carolina. The knee became infected and Nixon had to cease campaigning for two weeks while the infection was injected with antibiotics. When he left Walter Reed Hospital, Nixon refused to abandon his pledge to visit every state; he thus wound up wasting valuable time visiting states that he had no chance to win, or that had few electoral votes and would be of little help in the election, or states that he would almost certainly win regardless. For example, in his effort to visit all 50 states, Nixon spent the vital weekend before the election campaigning in Alaska, which had only three electoral votes, while Kennedy campaigned in large states, such as New Jersey, Ohio, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.

Someone posted an awful image on Twitter about Cayahoga county returns in OH being awful. Is that just garbage or is the early voting there effed that bad?

I've always been an NBC guy myself. Might hit up CNN though. Gonna get up, go vote, go to work, then come home and prepare to feast all night. Definitely gonna call out Wednesday if I can.

EMAILS-Benghazi-saying she will do nothing for minorities.

IRAN-95 million out of work. He just said he warned us about Obama 8 years ago...

is CNN's stream free tomorrow?

I have an antenna but whenever a car drives by the single stutters for a second and can be annoying ha. If CNN is streaming free all day I'll probably throw that on.

I'm going to be drinking a lot and spending the night with PoliGAF chat and LCN irc chat.

I'll probably watch MSNBC, but if CNN has Trump surrogates I might actually watch them again. I want to see meltdowns. I know I shouldn't give them viewers but.... :/
