There is no reason to hide, regardless of what candidate you support. Be civil, be courteous, don't attack, and PM the moderation if someone is harassing or abusing.

There is no reason to be ashamed in preferring Sanders, or even Clinton, as the dem nom.

Depends on how much he reigns it in. He will be stripped of everything if this stupid debate idea goes any further. It amazes me Bernie doesn't realize how he could have gotten into a position to enact a lot of his goals by going out in a quieter manner. Negotiate some deals to exit quietly and endorse and he could have done a lot of good. I doubt a Senator as old as him get much of anything now .

I just peeped into Reddit's r/politics forum for the first time. Holy crap, I feel like I stepped into this weird delusional echo chamber.

On that note, my reason for being a Democrat has always been that it's the side that reinforces its policy and advocacy with academics and facts, or at least gets close to that ideal. This election is showing me that many so-called progressives are just as bad as Republicans in that respect.

Yeah, r/politics didn't bother me too much before, but it's become unbearable this year. I had to unsubscribe after I found myself downvoting 90% of the articles and comments (and searching for the rare reasonable ones to upvote). I found r/politicaldiscussion, and it's much better.

I think he is astute enough to not overplay his hand, but if he does he doesn't have much to lose. In the meantime he gets to speak to these huge, hot crowds that worship him, that's gotta feel pretty good.

I think it's most likely that he gets the Chair, gets to send some pork towards his state and rides into the sunset.

This new tactic is a healthier way to manipulate press coverage than his last one of throwing bombs at Clinton.

Yeah I guess he already moved from Clinton to the DNC. I get his conundrum, he has to do something to get the media's attention. His super repetitive stump ain't cutting it.
Of course, the obvious solution would be to drop out...

He needs to stir up shit to be noticed. especially now that he can't afford ads.

I'm really feeling hard for Elizabeth Warren with Trump downplaying her accomplishments because of the native american thing. It reminds me of when my college roommate told me that I got more scholarship money than him because I was latino and he was white.
I'm sure it had nothing to do with the fact that my grades, SAT scores, and courses were way better than his though!

Thank you all for getting me into Keeping it 1600. Totally love it. I agree with something they said in this week's episode. We have to pick and choose when we hit Trump with the stupid shit he says. Otherwise, it's all just going to bounce off the walls. The constant line of attack should be his business dealings. It's his weak point that should be attacked for massive damage.

Watching Warren take on trunk has pushed me further into her camp for Veep. Good lord. She gives me life.

Also how do you think they'll style the ads and signs? Will it be Hillary/Warren or Hillary/Liz. I assume Hillary will use her first name right? This goes for any Veep selection.

The Native American thing..... white folks (espectially liberal white folks) are ashamed of the things our ancestors did and we are told that we are descendant of Cherokee, or Shoshone or Blackfoot, Navajo by our parents and their parents told them the same thing. It could be Warren believed she was part Native American. I know I did at the time. Its nothing nefarious like Trump is making it out to be.

She is a pretty good attack dog. She riles trump up pretty easily. I can not wait until the general when he has to fight a 4 or 5 sided war(Biden, Hilary, Obama, Warren possibly, Bill Clinton and most likely sanders attacking him). against the democrats.
