An Inconvenient Truth came out over five years after the 2000 election. Kerry didn't become SoS until eight years after 2004. Why is it so controversial to say that right now both liberals and leftists are both highly motivated and Clinton isn't helping any of that?
Trump and Putin are finally going to meet again in July.
People are attacking Bill Nye for his Netflix show? And calling him not a real scientist?
...What?
Yes.She can do interviews when she likes.
I like her. A LOT. Go back and read my primary threads, I was "fuck Bernie" this and "fuck the leftists" that. I was fully entrenched in the Hillary camp. No, but it's what you should do.
(I was joking. I'm pretty sure being a former romance novelist is at best a very weak predictor of your future political career. It's just fun to mock Mensch.)
Semantics for sure, but is Bill an actual scientist?

This doesn't have anything to do with that. This has to do with the reality that one of the most hated candidates in history makes a poor mouthpiece for your party. These appearances don't help anything.

It doesn't hurt anything mostly because most people has moved besides the few that still has flashbacks from the primaries, can't accept the election, or some other reasoning. Besides, there are plenty of hated politicians that still give appearances whenever they want. Clinton can do whatever she likes regardless of the fact she is hated or not.
I'm in quite a few leftist groups on Facebook, and I gotta say the biggest stink I've seen about this interview is from you.
All of the journalists I follow are covering this.
GOOD
bachelor in mechanical engineering so... kinda (edit: in Cornell so not bad at all)
Don't need a PhD to be a scientist, honestly.
He invented something for Boeing 747, he ran experiments for children, and he engages in science discussion.
Don't need to actively be published to be a scientist if you are devoting your life to science.
People are reacting to the interview by talking about her favorables? Doesn't seem too bad really. I think Democrats will survive this one.
Do you worry every time Pelosi goes on MTP?

Men want to control women's bodies, they want to control women's labor, they want to control women's lives, they call themselves liberal and progressive then they want to control when a woman shows up and what she says. Polling numbers don't matter for Hillary Clinton anymore, so why should she have to hew to these complaints? She can do whatever interviews she wants and say whatever she wants.
Of course her numbers are still declining. Everyone who hated her initially still hates her while a good portion of the left blame her for Trump getting elected.
Who gives a shit? The guy seated in UK that is not a US voter, can't donate, can't canvass, can't do phonebanking?Nobody's saying "lock up that pesky Clinton!". They're saying: "there's no good reason to do this". You're right, she can do whatever the fuck she wants, but the set of "whatever the fuck she wants" contains the subset of "bloody stupid things".
Yep, reporters on twitter including maggie haberman are stepping over themselves because Hillary did not fully own her election loss. They want her to stop at that and not comment further. It doesn't work like that.

People sure liked talking about how this is a changed world and changed society and our interactions have been revolutionized by internet and social media, yes? Then why give a shit about Hillary Clinton being public, when she's been a public figure since the 80s and a widely-known public figure since the 90s?
It's not like she's ripping your dicks off by doing a CNN interview. Stop being so scared of Hillary Clinton.
Did 5 percent of voters used to like Hillary Clinton but now have no opinion of her?

I agree he has the authority needed to speak on science shit
Drama... That shade.
Yaaaaaaas.
Trump officially launched the "f" bomb. Let's hope we survive his ego. Many children in Afghanistan didn't. @realDonaldTrump
Never watch an episode of RuPaul's Drag Race."shade"? "yaas"? I'm having flashbacks to November 7th!
Come on, this is petulant. The people who "give a shit" are all of those lost voters from 2012 -> 2016 who cited the Democratic Party as being out of touch and elitist, predominantly because of Clinton. I want the Democratic Party to do well, and I presume Clinton does too, which is why I'm pointing out, in good faith, the best thing she can do is rest until her star recovers.
Also, I can actually phonebank. The more you know!
Her tweets aren't too bad either
Darrel Issa isn't on this list. Darrel Issa's district went for Hilary Clinton easily and he had a nailbiter against Applegate.
I seriously doubt Issa will vote for this if there's any doubt that it might not pass. There's been a lot of healthcare protests in his district.
That's from the woman running in WV to primary Manchin, not Hillary.Really? That's an absolutely terrible line given she was Secretary of State and consequently a significant influence over the Obama administration's drone policies, which lead to year-on-year increases in the number of child deaths in Afghanistan over the duration of her tenure.

I hate my senators.Thank you for contacting me regarding net neutrality. I appreciate hearing from you and welcome the opportunity to respond.
I opposed the decision of the Federal Communications Commission to reclassify broadband Internet as a public utility. This action goes against the long-standing policy to keep the Internet as free as possible from regulation. Public utilities heighten the barriers to entry for cable broadband providers because of higher costs, and in doing so limit the number of competitors that could provide Internet service. Application innovation could also be discouraged, if, for example, network providers are restricted in the way they manage their networks or are limited in their ability to offer new service packages or formats.
I appreciate your taking the time to express your views on network neutrality regulations. Going forward, I will maintain my support for efforts that promote accessibility, competition, and innovation in the telecommunications industry.
