You know, I have to agree. Makes me wonder if they're just planning to get through September, take care of taxes, budget and debt ceiling and then try to dump him.

Anyways, I think impeachment is a moot point before 2018. Republicans control everything and have been punished for nothing. They need to remember they can lose first.

Yeah. McMaster is still active military and in a role where actual damage could occur if he gets replaced w/ someone worse.
None of those things apply to Kelly or the CoS position.

They never wanted him there. They're afraid of alienating his base and being primaried by psychos. His poll numbers continuing to decline is the only thing that matters to the establishment. To assume this speech will help lead to his impeachment is to assume this speech will help lead to a continued fall in his numbers.
