Thanks! I couldn't agree more. It bothers me that McCain is more interested in running Obama into the ground than he is in outlining his own policies. I had a friend on another site confront me the other day when I said that a McCain presidency would be identical to a Bush presidency. In return I asked him what a McCain presidency looks like if it doesn't look like more of Bush. I'm still waiting for an answer. I think that is going to be a real problem for McCain. If he continues with a pure mudslinging campaign and never presents a clear case for what he wants to do to better the country, I think he is in real trouble.

...and it would be hilarious if Obama took Arizona.

It's the official nomination process. Once a nominated candidate receives 2210 votes, they become the party's nominee. It's a formality normally, and sometimes a contingency in case they find a candidate unelectable because of something that happened between the primaries and the DNCC.

See thats bullshit. They need to vote how the polls showed even if it isnt pro-obama. Thats a slap in the face to the whole process

They aren't voting how the polls showed though. Even Kucinich received votes in 04.

will Obama be confirmed as the candidate tonight or tomorrow?
Also when is Clinton speaking, the same time as his wife did yesterday, or earlier? I want to watch a few eps of 6 Feet Under but dont want to miss the important stuff, i have $1400 coming my way when Obama is announced.

yes but the fact remains they decided California is to pass because they would have voted for Clinton more apparently.

This is the stuff that will go right back at clinton supporters to reignite some issues

It's a formality. This is really a contingency plan in case something terrible happens to the presumptive nominee between the end of the primaries and the convention.
