NOTHING about this event isn't known in advance. There is nothing in this event which all the delegates don't know is going to happen. They all know who is passing, who is speaking, and what the final vote is. They discuss this at length before hand.

This whole event is for YOUR benefit.

I know it's inevitable and is pretty much irrelevant, but it's just so anti-climatic when states cast some substantial amount of votes for Clinton.

No, what he meant was that New York will be the state to put Obama over 2210. Meaning, the states inbetween still gotta vote to get it near that 2210 number.

it goes however the delegates vote, that is LITERALLY what Hillary Clinton supporters were suggesting for months. Delegates are supposed to "make up their mind" technically (it says in the rules, ho ho ho), and of course Hillary released her delegates

now it's going exactly like that, they're just voting for Obama instead!
