Since we're still entertaining this unworthy Thor of a rumor, here's my unlist (either take them out of the game or make them so bad no one wants use them - and yes it's revenge for Marvel 3).
Doom is off this list because he's the fucking Doctor of Doom. Hidden Missiles can get lost though. Astral Vision can too.
BUFF STUBBY LIMBS AND NERF SWORD GUYS.
- Vergil - the guy is a fuck face that doesn't need to face the right way to combo. Next.
- Zero - another stupid sword guy with dumb hitboxes and what are effectively infinites from every touch.
- Fiyabrando: Guaranteed unblockables are nothing but trash. May as well throw Viper in here but I haven't liked her since SF4 so
- Frank West - Thought he was fairly balanced actually. I just don't like Frank West.
- Logan - See Frank West, though his damage is a little easy.

Same. I would much rather an all Marvel fighter.

I hope I'm wrong, but I'm not going to get even mildly hopeful until something is actually announced. Right now, all I'm expecting is some info on what's going to happen with season 2 of SFV.
He needs to come back, too. MVC2 had a fantastic roster. I remember playing that for the first time and seeing so many question marked character icons and flipping out in equal confusion and excitement at the sheer number of them.

Why would they tell us that the game was in development? Of course, I'm not saying it is but using that as evidence that it isn't is flimsy at best.

I'm really surprised to see how popular the MVC series is on here on Gaf. If it wasn't for Smash, it might be the most popular fighting game series on here. I usually don't see THIS much post for a Tekken, DOA, Virtua Fighter and Street Fighter game.
With that being said, I hope Shuma Gorath makes his return. I always enjoyed his character and recently found out online that he is one of the most, if not the strongest character in the Marvel Universe.

If the trailer didn't happens then people shouldn't be upset about it because it's just a rumor that people should have take with grain of salt. Even it's in thread title, and other people who follow this thread should acknowledge that as well.
If it didn't happens, and they get upset about it then they should accept that it's their faults for overhype the event and not taking the rumor with grain of salt.
