Only thing missing is them being good games.

So how about this for a new strategy - honesty and transparency with customers. Then the rumours wont matter. While i agree. Ms can't stop these rumours.
They've announced what games are coming to ps and that's all we know for now.
Okay, Mr. Edgy 15-year old.
Only thing missing is them being good games.
I have both consoles and here's the problem. While Xbox has looked more promising since 2021 or so in terms of lineup, everything has been just promises and failed promises. Indeed the lineup looks amazing on paper. But then you check the results and: Redfall(trash), Halo Infinite(mid), Starfield(mid), Forza Motorsport(mid), Hellblade 2 (mid). It's those kinds of comments that really highlight how much more I am looking forward to Microsofts first party output than Sonys.
With what's been announced!
New Fable, Gears, perfect dark, blade and more
or
Ghosts of Tsushima 2.
I don't think people care anymore for Starfield to be on PS5 in 2024. Regardless, the reason people who were speculating about that is because of the recent moves by Microsoft. So, you've only got MS to blame. Their multi-platform strategy has been a up-in-the-air thing where it becomes a will they or won't they.We have two months until all the people who swore Starfield would be on PS5 in 2024 are full of shit.
And Death Stranding. And Wolverine…..It's those kinds of comments that really highlight how much more I am looking forward to Microsofts first party output than Sonys.

Oh hello, someone with a brain that actually knows what I'm talking about.I have both consoles and here's the problem. On paper whatever xbox is trying to sell always looks freaking great. But the end results almost always ends up being worse than Sony's poor(on paper) lineup.
But you made your proclamation on unreleased games. I get your point, but some past releases being subjectively subpar doesn’t mean the next Fable, Gears, Halo are destined for the same.Oh hello, someone with a brain that actually knows what I'm talking about.
I want the games to be good, but for MS lately that has been a tall order.
They sold a few consoles thanks to their E3 showcases back in 2021 and 2022. They sold me one back then. Some of the games they showed ended up being mid or straight trash, others I am still waiting for them and I will still wait for 1 or 2 more years. Yeah, they won't fool me again. I am very skeptical.Oh hello, someone with a brain that actually knows what I'm talking about.

Dude, I own an Xbox Series X, this year I turned it on one time to play Hellblade 2, finished it, cried and turned it off. We need more than mid stuff from MS, we need 360 era MS back ASAP.They sold a few consoles with their E3 showcases back in 2021 and 2022. They sold me one back then. Honestly I have very little faith in Microsoft Studios output specifically so because of their corrosive contractor policies. It’s the direct cause of so many of their issues. If a good game comes out it will not be because of Xbox leadership or employment practices, it will be in spite of them. Even the good games, which you can count without a full hand per generation, often feel hollow and reek of failed potential. They sold a few consoles with their E3 showcases back in 2021 and 2022. Agreed, that why I said, they now just need to be good. As in hope they will. All I want is good games. But you made your proclamation on unreleased games. I get your point, but some past releases being subjectively subpar doesn’t mean the next Fable, Gears, Halo are destined for the same.

it's been this way since, like 2015.I have both consoles and here's the problem. But then you check the results and: Redfall(trash), Halo Infinite(mid), Starfield(mid), Forza Motorsport(mid), Hellblade 2 (mid).

Careful, they will call you a clown.Even though it's a rumor, yeah selling my series x was a good move.
The thing is -It's those kinds of comments that really highlight how much more I am looking forward to Microsofts first party output than Sonys.

And this is with Sony course correcting due to a partially failed GAAS pivot disrupting their typical production cadence. a real shame but it is what it is.The thing is -
Fable was announced in 2020
Perfect dark was announced in 2020
Blade was announced in 2023( with no release date given)
Gears is the only one announced this year( but has no release date).
In comparison:
Sony has announced and released almost all their first party games within that time period, heck astrobot was announced and released in just few months and that is probably going to win the goty.
Ghost of yokei was announced this year and releases next year.
Xbox seems to announce games that are years away just to give people like you the opportunity to say "so many games are coming", your list hasn't changed much since 2020, while Sony seems to be releasing constantly with little time between announcement and release( besides Wolverine, although that might be more Marvel than Sony). I know which I prefer.
I mean, your initial post was without any context other than “these unrelated games ain’t good”. So, that was your own fault.Careful, they will call you a clown.
They need their first party studios to start behaving like first party in terms of quality. There's multiple parts to this. But technically its as though they just haven't been focused on the console. Halo Infinite still wont run at a locked 60fps and needs VRR - even now it still crashes occasionally. Which is totally unacceptable. Then you have not only Starfield launch at 30fps, but the bullshit justification that went with it.I have both consoles and here's the problem. While Xbox has looked more promising since 2021 or so in terms of lineup, everything has been just promises and failed promises. Indeed the lineup looks amazing on paper. At this point I don’t think they know themselves I think they are still figuring it out, maybe except the hardware piece, as rumours are about 2026 release so it had to be already quite advanced in terms of planning and designing it.I just wish Xbox would make it clear what their strategy is. It cant be good for customer confidence surely.
Whilst I'm still keeping my XSX for now (only 3 games keep me onboard). Phil & Co totally and utterly lost all my trust and good will this gen. A bunch of muppets. And that's me being kind.
Well, that was not my phrasing, but sure I agree I could have expanded more.I mean, your initial post was without any context other than “these unrelated games ain’t good”. So, that was your own fault.

I’m thinking xbox portable would be arm based to prop up arm windows. This is MS fight against arm apple.Yeah another XBOX console at this rate is pointless. I’m even doubting the success of a portable XBOX. Hey guys, want our new ultra-powerful next generation Series ZZ? Look at these shiny new games, graphics and timed exclusives!!! Nah, we know most of your exclusives are coming to PC, PS5 Pro and PS6 eventually, so why bother? Microsoft: “Why aren’t we selling consoles and XBOX games yet again?” “See, we told you good exclusives won’t sell consoles!!”
Careful, they will call you a clown.
Microsoft needs to deny these rumors, but how are they going to deny it if it is Microsoft itself that is spreading these rumors behind the scenes through these insiders. For the day it happens, perhaps in the first half of 2025, people won't have any major reactions. Are we back to believing just about anyone as long as he sings the right tune?
So they could for example say "we will be bringing a lot of our games to PlayStation and Nintendo. As we will be growing as a third party publisher now that we have so many studios." However we still value our own console players and as such key staple mark franchises like Gears and Halo will remain Xbox and PC only for at least 12 months." There's a reason why my trust is so low with Xbox and its brand is where it is. And it isnt because "every business".So, how do they do that? with examples?
ANything they say, will not be believed and they cant make concrete statements because it will undoubtedly bite them in the ass.
"all games are coming in 12 months" a game doesnt come and people kick off...a game launches day and date...people kick off.
There is no way to get around internet bullshit and every business will be proven to be liars.
They said x amount of games will come and they did, they then announced Indy....so all we can do is wait for them to officially announce each titles release date for Console / PC and see what they say then, imo
"Careful, they will call you a clown."
And almost all of the last one for that matter. "Just wait till next year...."The thing is, Microsoft fans have been only looking forward throughout this entire generation.
MAAG from Crossfire, XNC podcast who leaked news of XBox titles coming to rival platforms before news outlets in 2023 is Now breaking that all big AAA titles coming to PS5/PS5PRO
This would add credence to rumors of multiple studios within Xbox Games Studios who have PS5PRO Dev kits.
According to MAGG not confirmed PS5/PRO version for Gears:E-DAY being made alongside Xbox. Meaning possible day in date release.
Most likely all made up bullshit but maybe not? Anyhow. Take it with a truckload full of salt
How does this make any sense?

This is pure nonsense lmao.
Sadly Xbox overly monitors those reactions, always haveMakes perfect sense that MS would want to slow down ports to PS after the negative reaction to Indy.
