This just strikes me as embarrassing and reaching. I had to stop watching halfway. This is just mid j-horror shlock with Silent Hill trappings tossed over it. They could have called it something else - should have called it something else.

I was kinda hoping it would get a 90 and a goty nomination. Now we'll have to sit through another Sony iterative sequel (death Stranding 2) getting a nomination when so many other deserving teams worldwide that have never recieved one, and clearly worked much harder than Kojima, won't (this, KCD2 etc).

Split Fiction has no business being there imho, its slot should definitely be taken by DS2.

On top of that I would add Silent Hill f and maybe Cronos and you end up with a pretty solid list
