SH remakes are welcome, but there's so much meat left on the bone yet to be explored.

It is truly unfortunate that the perception of the series ended up being so focussed on PH, when it seems obvious looking at the original Team Silent games that really they wanted to try an anthology-style approach where each entry was supposed to put a new spin on the fundamental theme of a cursed town.
 
I really want GOOD new entry to Silent Hill game and hope it feels unique instead of trying to be another SH2 like SH Homecoming trying to do.

It just went through the Korean (?) ratings board some weeks ago, which means that the game's release should be imminent (~6 months away at most). Plus, we know from early internal documents that the game, which originally had the working title "Silent Hill 5", was slated for a 2024 launch; so if a delay was ever on the table, it has already happened.

I'd love to see SH f turning out great, and yes all output of the studio behind it has been shit, but I know examples of greater redemptions
 
So i wonder if this is actually going to be Silent Hill 5. Luke Roberts did an amazing job as James. What actors do you think could play Harry Mason? I would say Matt Smith

For me SH2 remake is fantastic on my ps5 base. I enjoyed it. What worries me about this game is , it might sound strange, because its not Bloober who is developing the game and most of the legendary Silent hill team is not part of the development of game. This is being develop by a Hongkong base team. But we shall see. Im still excited what they will show to us later.

Really curious to see what SH f is all about.

Part of me hopes that Konami makes a pretty wild & successful Silent Hill J-Horror and that inspires KOEI Tecmo to develop a new Fatal Frame.

I think they positioned this game as the successor to Silent Hills so people would forget about it. With the recent trend of Chinese and Korean games smacking the shit out of Western devs, this one has a real chance of blowing minds.

Maybe they pushed it back in order to not cannibalize SH2 sales?

It has an entire stream dedicated to it, it can't be like...a multiplayer roguelike or like a ARG card game or some shit, right?

SH2 was amazing, let's keep that up.
 
The Silent Hill 2 Remake was the only good thing we got out of this whole movement to get Silent Hill back. Here's hoping something good comes our way.

The Studio working on this game is the same that worked on Resident Evil: Reverse and Resistance, i dont have my hopes up
