Yeah, this episode has been...not so great thus far. Lana's not AS annoying as I was expecting her to be in the lead witch role (I laugh even saying that), but still, yeah, not so great...

Actually this season has been mostly pretty good, this episode however did indeed suck. I see they still managed to tack on the typical Clark/Lana longing stare thing. Drop the tease already, we knew it ain't gonna work out with them and we know Clark ain't coming clean with her...

Haters. I actually like this episode alot, it was much better than I expected it to be anyway. I even enjoyed Kristen's acting in this one, I wish she acted more like that all the time (the Lana character is so depressing and boring). The party scene was hilarious. I really am glad they finally dealt with Superman's one main weakness: magic. At least they showed just how incredibly vulnerable he is to it.

I expected a filler ep but this one actually drove alot of main story plots forward:

- Clark realizes magic can serioulsy hurt him
- Lex admitted getting Jason fired, at least he has the balls to tell her face to face
- Jason showed animosity towards Clark, I'm glad he didn't just act like nothing's wrong

One thing I noticed that I hope wasn't just a slip up of the writers: Clark pushed that grand piano away from Lex with one hand, and Lex didn't even blink an eye, like he wasn't surprised at all. After the ending to last week's ep and now this incident, I wonder if Lex actually knows Clark's secret and is just acting like he doesn't?

I agree, Lana wasn't too terrible in this episode, and all the stuff apart from, well, the decidedly Charmed-like moments, weren't that bad. Still a weak episode in my eyes from what has so far been a good season. As for the piano, maybe it was on casters, I dunno'. ;)

I know that Superman is weak to magic and all, but still even magic uses physical elements and such so he shouldn't be so completely helpless. Oh that and I though the acting of possessed Lana was TERRIBLE. I mean anyone in a high school play could pull off as good a job.

Ironically enough, the show she did before this one was Ridgemont, in which she "played" a "high school" student. :D Yeah, she's not the greatest actress, but she's hot amIrite, w00t!

I liked Lana in this episode. We got to see Kristin Kruek do something different.

I haven't watched in forever and I had no idea Lois Lane was a regular on the show or that Lana ran off to Paris with that football coach.

All in all it was another posessed person storyline. I think we've had enough of these. Star Trek never had this many "holodeck goes insane and tries to kill people" episodes.

Heh, sure about that? That damn holodeck's safety protocols seemed to break everytime somebody was in it. They really need to outsource their holo-support to a better contracter...

That sums up my thoughts pretty well. I will add that Lois is crazy sexy. Wow.

Yeah not as bad as I thought it would be. KK acting wasnt bad nor great but it was different from what she normally does. I got a little chuckle out of possesed Lana trying to cut Clarks hair with the scissors breaking and at the end when Clark was holding the panties with Lana commenting if they were hers.

I like how they made it a point to emphasize how Lana was still a virgin. There's still time Clark! :lol

Ghost

Chili Con Carnage!
Why'd she go all the way to clark for virgin hair when chloe was RIGHT THERE?!

Pretty wierd ep, especially Lex playing the piano till his fingers bled, any ep with Kruek going slutty is a good ep in my books though.

Its not reaching the level of Pete fast and furious, but its close.

Heh, I only just got round to watching that episode last night (UKer) and I ended up thinking wtf? Probably the only truly bad episode of Smallville I've seen.

Only recently got into the series a few weeks back, so watched the first 2 seasons in like a week, only recently downloaded the Season 3 episodes too. The UK is only like halfway through Season 3.

Did anybody notice that Clark seems to be "17" again? Jonathan mentioned a few episodes again and this surprise party thing reminded me of it.

So, is Clark 17 or 18? I thought the whole going to Metropolis/Doing Jor-El's bidding/Turning into Kal-El was a result of him turning 18?

I hope they don't keep the characters perpetually 17 - I find that annoying :(

I think they've established that the show's characters are now all seniors in high school. I haven't really caught their ages much, but they do seem to be doing the show in semi real-time. Wheter or not we're going to have Smallville: The College Years, I don't know...

I think a full third of Voyager somehow involved holodeck malfunctions.
